One of the nicest and cleanest R32 GTR's I have seen.

Have fun keeping them clean :)

Is that the rare dark blue Nissan R32 colour also?

lol yer i put the wheels on took that pic, went for a run up the street and back, wiped the wheels over and put it back in the garage and the covers back on. they gunna b a bitch to keep clean.

yea it is a Nissan Colour apperently its the rarest colour for the r32 gtr it was the lowest number of them painted that colour.

But its not orginal it was respray that colour for that very reason above just before i brought it 12-13months ago. they did a real good job on the paint work, its perfect as far as i can see.

hey all,

after 3months of waiting i finaly got my new wheels and tyres straped on my R, i think it looks Fricking AWSOME!!! haha jsut cant drive it anywhere or they will get dirty. Lucky its a weekend warrior

wheels= Work XD9 18x10

tyres= fed RSR

Looks fantastic mate :P What size tyres are they? Look like theres a bit of stretch on em.

Believe the offset will be +18

lol yer i missed out on the brembo's which will most likly be my next mod.

Stunning car Dean. Gotta be one of my faves.

Don't rush out for the Brembo's. If its for looks, go for it. If its for stopping at the track, there's really not that much difference compared to a well set up stock Nissan calliper.

Had the Brembo's on my N1 at the front (its an early N1 so came out with stock Nissan callipers) fitted by the previous owner. Got rid of them as went back to stock, and replaced with rebuilt Nissan callipers, new fluid, pads, rotors and the stopping is awesome.

I am guessing +18 offset, these are the exact wheels ive been enquiring about.. can the owner confirm these are +18?

Also, these arnt running any spacers are they?

Also intersted in the tyres your running?

Also wondering if anyone knows about these wheels and their brake clearances. I am going to fit these to my r32 GTR as well.. and one day plan to do a big brake upgrade. Just like you guys are talking about i guess.. Wondering if anyone knows how large one could go brake wise with these wheels?

Oh, and these do look awesome. Tough looking ride man. Cheers for any info.

They are +18, no spacers.

Would like to know tyre size aswell, looks like there's a bit of stretch going on. 255s maybe?

I don't think they're too good for fitting big brakes behind. I don't have much clearance over the standard calipers. I've never been able to find what the disc type of the wheel is though.

nice rims, what offset?

thanks mate, they +18

Hey Deano1, absolutely love that colour and wheels complete it perfectly

as Jamie said before mine is quite similar, this is the only pic I have of it really with xd9s on it

Nah its more for the track man, the wheels are pritty out there, but my car is drivin on the street but im basicly building it for trackdays. i mite go some r34 Brembos they seem to be goin for a decent price.... in saying that i didnt find the limit of my standard ones at the last Eastern Creek day i did. but i was running shitty street tyres... next time will be diffrent

Nah mate no spacers, screw that you dont spend 2.2k on wheels and than have to run spacers. theres plenty of wheels to fit the r32 gtr you just mite need to do gaurd mods and strechies

white is gay they will soon look like a road grime mess .

cars the weekend car mate.... wheels get wiped down before and after each drive.... i dont drive it in the rain or one dirt roads or anything stupid..... I dont plan on selling it ever... it will just sit in my garage under its covers. They diff wont loook like road grime mess... ever....

    • Yeah, it's getting like that, my daughter is coming over on Thursday to help me remove the bonnet so I can install the Carbuilders underbonnet stuff,  I might get her to give me a hand and remove the hardtop, maybe, because on really hot days the detachable hardtop helps the aircon keep the interior cool, the heat just punches straight through to rag top I also don't have enough hair for the "wind in the hair" experience, so there is that....LOL
    • Could be falling edge/rising edge is set wrong. Are you getting sync errors?
    • On BMWs what I do because I'm more confident that I can't instantly crush the pinch welds and do thousands of USD in chassis damage is use a set of rubber jacking pads designed to protect the chassis/plastic adapter and raise a corner of the car, place the aforementioned 2x12 inch wooden planks under a tire, drop the car, then this normally gives me enough clearance to get to the front central jack point. If you don't need it to be a ramp it only needs to be 1-1.5 feet long. On my R33 I do not trust the pinch welds to tolerate any of this so I drive up on the ramps. Before then when I had to get a new floor jack that no longer cleared the front lip I removed it to get enough clearance to put the jack under it. Once you're on the ramps once you simply never let the car down to the ground. It lives on the ramps or on jack stands.
    • Nah. You need 2x taps for anything that you cannot pass the tap all the way through. And even then, there's a point in response to the above which I will come back to. The 2x taps are 1x tapered for starting, and 1x plug tap for working to the bottom of blind holes. That block's port is effectively a blind hole from the perspective of the tap. The tapered tap/tapered thread response. You don't ever leave a female hole tapered. They are supposed to be parallel, hence the wide section of a tapered tap being parallel, the existince of plug taps, etc. The male is tapered so that it will eventually get too fat for the female thread, and yes, there is some risk if the tapped length of the female hole doesn't offer enough threads, that it will not lock up very nicely. But you can always buzz off the extra length on the male thread, and the tape is very good at adding bulk to the joint.
    • Nice....looking forward to that update
