Hi, am looking into buying an r34 gt-t exhaust..

few questions first..

How do you get the "Angle Look" on the r34 rear? Is that a specific exhaust or do you have to bend the exhaust to get it on an angle?

Also, im after the best sounding R34-G-tt exhaust & also best performing. I'm expecting to have 200-230rwkw.

I want low revs to be quiet & HIGH Revs to SCREAM.

All help is appreciated.

Cheers!!!

You'll want a VTEC Honda exhaust then. LOL jokes.

Apparently some 5Zigen exhausts do that, that's why a lot of Honda's use them, so i'm told.

i got my exhaust made for me by a mate who works at sabaddins. it has the nice bit of angle as well and sits very close to the body of the car, unlike most brand name exhausts which hang really lol

its a 3inch front and dump pipe, 3inch hi flow cat, 1 resonator and a cannon muffler, fairly quietish cruising around but when its on boost hard it screams. im getting a very similar (albeit a lil bigger with a screamer) for my new engine.

i got a HKS Super Dragger from a R33 modified to suit my GT-T. You might get sick of the drone of a angled/canon style you're thinking of.

I can def recommend the super dragger if you want something nice around town, but still has a very nice note when you've got the boot in.

+1

I got the exact same system modified for my 4door, full specs here. It's really nice and quiet on idle & low revs and seems to flow well.

There's been a few R33 HKS Super Dragers for sale lately, just factor in some $$ for modifying it to suit.

    • Sorry to hear your HFM BM57 was faulty,  did you contact HFM I would hope they would be at least grateful for the information if there was some sort of manufacturing fault, you would hope they would be sympathetic even if your item was 2 years old if it had never been fitted. May I ask where it leaked from ?

LOL I have already installed cat doors into the laundry where their kitty litter is, and the sun room, apart from the cat doors there's not going to be any permanent mounted stuff on the interior walls (interior doors are cheap and easy to replace) I will get a outdoor cat cage thingie once I finish the landscaping out back... https://catnip.com.au/ The only off limit areas are the main bedroom and the gym room....but, currently the cats are curled up in bed, in the main bedroom with the Mrs.....LOL, the off limits for the kittens to the main bedroom lasted about 5 minutes with Jackie I currently only have 1 free standing huge cat tree multiple level scratching post thingie in the lounge room, but, I will be getting another one soon now that I'm happy with the furniture layout in the back room and have a perfect spot for it
    • All of this is making it seem clear that running the Coppermix twin was definitely the way to go, especially in hindsight with how insane tariffs have gotten and the strength of the USD vs yen at the time.
    • That sounds like no chance of even importing one for road registering then Now I see why Duncan wants to check LHD rules for Targa...   I wonder how "bolt in" the AWD would be if you got one imported from the US and swapped it to an AUD one
