hi guy and girls

i have a idea to help make WA roads a more friendlier place and may change peoples peseptions of car enthusiasts.

why dont we just leave ower jumper leads and some tools in a bag in ower boots and if we see sombody with car problems why not help them out it should only take 5min for a jump and if its more than that well i guess thats too bad.

and after helping them out suggest to them to pay if forwed. jumper lead cost under $20 and at the same time show them how car enthusiasts are not that bad.

i though of this after seeing a mother in a car park that couldnt start her car and i just though that if i had some jumper leads i could have had her running in under 5 min and what would it cost me. nothing and would save her hr's and $$ if she had to call a tow truck.

the next step would be to get ppl to cary and USE UHF radios :action-smiley-069:

if i saw a milf in a carpark in need of a jump start i would'nt be jump startin her without some sort of 'repayment'

meh all that crap is just extra weight, if ur skylines just a daily then yeah maybe

I just carry RAC roadside assist phone # + my phone...

Last Sunday, near dogswamp KFC I saw some dude's Golf broke down in the car park & while he was contacting someone on the phone, his girlfriend was just siting inside the car with a "wtf... POS car" look on her face...

i have stopped and helped a few ppl, couple of skyliners and a couple old ladies, change a tyre what not, wouldnt stop and help a young man or anything like that,

and i dont no where u ppl get this idea that every one and cop persieves skyline drivers as hoons, i have never been pulled over unless doing something wrong, and have had cops behind me often

there has been a few hoon things on aca and tt and the majority of cars has been holdens, and minimal footage of skylines

in the last month i have jump started about 12 cars lol.

I work at a Servo and we get many people who have flat batteries. and i feel like i am the only one who has jumpers lol

I was helped by a lady once when my skyline battery went flat. She pushed the car for me and since then i try to help others.

.........

I'm sorry, but you're seriously a little bitch.

I know, HMASR33GTSTs are heavy, but if it's too heavy for yourself to push the A-pillar before jumping in, couldnt you atleast HELP push ?

I pretty much always carry jumper leads in my car, I have helped out a couple of people with them and get a desperate call from mum every 6 weeks or so asking for a jumpstart (next car she gets I'm making sure has headlights that automatically turn themselves off). Also, hopefully if my battery ever goes flat I'll be able to find someone to help quite easily as it won't matter whether they have leads or not.

This makes me wonder, why don't all the cars come with this feature?

My mum's older (2002) Camry had this feature but my dad's newer (2006) didn't... I much rather prefer it had this feature than that sutpid annoy seat belt reminder light (I can't put my laptop bag on the passenager seat without having it going off).

haha yeah the old camry was good, it is annoying that with progress things get taken off I assume in the quest for cost cutting.

Like that stupid annoying beeping sound when you have your keys in the ignition and the door open, honestly with remote entry how could I lock my keys in the car anyway?

I carry a jumper pack in my car. You have no idea how much times ive used it. Its so handy. One of the best things ive bought.

+1 for the jumper pack... mines bailed me out of trouble least 5 times.. plus its also helped a few ppl out.. tho funny story when my skyline was off the road.. my other car got a flat battery and i was running late for an exam, got halfway there in a taxi before i remembered.. oh wait i own a jumper pack.. f*kker charged me 50$

i also help people when i can, in the hope it comes around, what if a copy of this thread was sent to TT or ACA so then they can see the real mantality behind our club? and realise were not all idiots? - probably a silly suggestion, i will shut up now

maybe if they got more facts before they pointed the finger? - having said that i seen ''green'' a p plater this morning thrashing his skyline..

TT/ACA don't need facts to crap out more of their hoon-related BS... they just pull some random footage from their a** & use it.

    • Hey all  im wondering if you can help me please I have put a rb20 box in my r34 gtt as my auto packed up and a friend had a spare box I know it’s not ideal but it will get me up and running for now. we have done the conversation and everything is working great but my Speedo we got a s13 speed sensor but my Speedo reads double now and I bought a speed converter but still not having any luck.  so I thought I’ll reach out and pick your brains  any help would be appreciated please as I wanna drive my car again
    • Drain it. I got official Matic D but you can get whatever is listed as Matic D compatible.
    • Thanks guys,  Yeah I should at least have them dynoed, at least then I know what I've got as a starting point.  The springs on these are hard as rocks. I vaguely remember Russman saying he was going to sell the shocks to me with the rocks fitted, as he was keeping the softer springs for his new setup.  I didn't click at the time but of course that was to let me know the shock/spring wouldn't be matched.  I also remember pricing up new springs around 2014-15, but, house, money etc. it never happened. So that was another reason to have them rebuilt. I have rebuilt the forks on many motorcycles so I think I could handle the seals on these easily enough, but getting the valving right would be a rabbit hole I cbf exploring.  Duncan, interesting to hear RP was tuning these back then. I might give them a call.  In the mean time I have been busy fitting sway bars. The Whiteline rear sway bar I purchased 15 years ago finally got fitted, along with the Whiteline front bar that showed up last week. Just waiting on new links for the front sway bar to finish that off.  And my spare set of advan AVS VS5's should be back from the powder coaters in a Pearl White finish sometime this week, with a set of Hankook RS4's lined up for fitting.  And then I just have all the suspension bushes to do. A comprehensive kit is on the way... Lots to do before the Ararat hill climb. Cheers guys 🍻
    • Nice car! I’m glad folks in the US have gotten past the FnF and are buying real cool cars like the 260RS I was with a bunch of mates in Portland about a year ago and spotted a green Stagea (just a regular 2.5T AWD) parked about 2 blocks away and they were like “a what?” So I made a bet with them for a round of beers and said “ok one of you run down there and tell me if the steering wheel is on the correct side” 5 mins later the American comes trudging back up the hill and goes “he’s right guys. Ok what beer do you want?”
    • Should replace OR drop the tank, give it's good clean. Might be worth replacing that entire fuel level/pump/cradle thing with this: https://frenchysperformancegarage.com/products/fpg-s13-180sx-r32gtst-single-pump-hanger-kit-billet-hat-6-v3-fpg-089?gQT=2
