kristafa
i have a spare rb26 balancer here (brisbane) if you want - they work great!! Otherwise the cheaper aftermarket option would be from ROSS -> http://www.rosstuffbond.com.au/metal_jacket.html Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/337955-balancers-which-one-to-buy-your-experiences/#findComment-5463290 Share on other sites
MercuryMotorsport
ATI Balancer for sure. They have a 600hp or 1000hp version. This is what we use on all of our built engines, including NITTO. «Cyph3r»
I got my ATI balancer brand new delivered from the US for cheaper than a Ross would have cost locally. $500 to my door for the ATI vs $572 + delivery for the Ross Full Metal Jacket. Both will do the job, just see what you can get the best price on. My mates running a Ross on his Tomei RB28 without drama, Godzilla motorsport drag car runs an ATI and that thing revs like crazy... J'z-R33
ATI, with the AUD being so good against the USD www.summitracing.com have them for a good price. 918598 - STREET: R33 & R34, P/S, A/C, Alt Up to 500HP All Pulleys are in OEM locations. Power steering pulley is 15% underdrive, alternator and water pump are 5% underdrive. A 10mm shorter belt is required for power steering pulley. Damper shell and pulley are aluminum with steel hub. GTS-t VSPEC
You can't use those ATI ones for a RB25 right? I have one on my RB25, but it uses an R34 GTR crank, so maybe that is why it works. jarrod83
i think the gtst power steering pumps may pose a small problem.. different ribs on the pulley and i believe its a slightly different offset, as i had a bit of trouble fitting a gtr pump to a gtst Are the ross drift ones any good?
