doo eeeet!

Haters gonna hate, fkn let em I say :(

this is what im going for, its kinda my style, have something totally out there, its all from hellaflush.com i will be dropping the car pretty far and hood will become carbon fibre, with single bucket seat for driver.

but that will only be for show or photoshoots, otherwise id rather have my car lifted.

and no, there will be no gay BOV or "flutter", it will all be silent and stock otherwise.

:(

You have a long way to go before you reach the "style" on that front bar. At least your aiming to be originall. Not my cup of tea but at least it would stand out from the crowd.

Its your ride. Don't let the general reaction stop you doing what you want to do. For your purposes maybe airbags would suit seen as you want to drop it right down for photo shoots but lift it for normal use, as you certainly don't sound like you have track intentions.

Luke

id love track days, hence why i wont use air bags, it will be coils, they will only be lowered for phot shoots and racing i guess, the roads here are terrible, so no need to go low and hard.

im not looking at making any insane adjustments to the stagea, all i will do in the long run is rebuild the ngine, get brake upgrades and rollcage, i wont worry about weight reductions etc, im just looking at getting a bit out of the car, around 500-600bhp at max.

make something unique, but i still refuse to invest in any subs or doof doof equipment, nor any "fancy" interior crap.

At least your aiming to be originall.

original... just like all the other guys?

Just make sure you guys don't drive you hearses in California.

might actually get arrested.

haha, thats funny as, but i dont follow that media crap, all it was, was a guy posing as pedobear, when i went to supanova here in sydney, we all hung round with the pedobear in the convention and outside, i think i still have some pictures too, i still think the whole hatred towards pedobear is pretty harsh.

poor little bear, all he wanted was some attention

Did you know that the leaves of the laurel tree are dried and called Bay Leaves.

    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
    • Yeah dunno why johhny posted that here with no context, just post on FB/insta bro where he put it up?  Laine had an off at T4 during Thurs prac, he's ok, car is less than perfect, they are done for the weekend, he can fill in the rest. Bando also binned it like 100m up the road.
