Hey guys

i found a set of te37 18x9.5+12 and i want to put 235f ,265r and im wondering if they can fit?

I dont mind rolling the guards.i thought a lower offset makes the te37 look aggressive.

all help is appreciated.Simo

hay dude.

i have 18x9.5 te37s front and rear on my r34 +15 and i have rolled, flared and pumped guards

i run 245s f and 265s r

fronts still stick out a tiny bit, rears r sweet. (front guards are pulled same a gtr +25 mm and the rears are pulled more than that coz i used to have deep dish 19'sz)

i have 18x9.5 +12 on my gtt

needed camber arms and that was about it... i rolled the guards just beacuse i could didnt really need doing.

you will be alright

i didnt use camber arms coz i want my wheels to sit flat on the floor for better grip

You will need to roll the front and rear guards, this shouldnt be more then $50 a corner by a shop.

You will need to lower the car to fit them, and it would be best to get camber adjustment for the back at least.

But yes do it the jap way, buy the rims, then make the car fit around them, they will look porn.

doesnt having heaps of negative camber on the front just make it steer better not grip better??

google: understeer happens when the front tires have less traction during a cornering situation than the rear tires, thus causing the front end of the vehicle to have less mechanical grip and become unable to follow the trajectory in the corner.

If the tire had zero camber, the inside edge of the contact patch would begin to lift off of the ground, thereby reducing the area of the contact patch. By applying negative camber, this effect is reduced, thereby maximizing the contact patch area.

more neg camber on front = maximizing the contact patch area during a corner

grip better = steer better

heys guys what if i go 18x9front 235 18x9.5 rear 265 but still te37s

but what offset would i need?

my car allready has 9.5 255,40 rear and 9 225,40 front.i dont know wat offset but rear is deepdish

265s on the rear will be pushing it if you don't wanna pull the guards too. I'd personally go 235s all round, or step it up to a 10.5 on the rear for the 265 (what I'm looking at for mine now).

10.5's on the rear of a gt-t? How are you going to make that fit? offset?

just to give yous more info on my car so yous can help me out more

it has bc raceing coilovers it has 17x9 225 front and 17x9.5 255 rear.i dont mind lipping the guards or pulling them out.so is 18x9.5+12 235front 265 rear 0r should i look for 18x9 235 front and 18x9.5 265 rear and larger offset 15 and up.

I run both a 17 x 9 +20 (track) and 18 x 9.5 +15 (street) 235/40 all round, I lipped my front guards and rolled my rears to add an extra 10mm of clearance.

But I run my car a bit lower than most, so I have natural camber both front 2 deg and rear 1.5ish , but plan on correcting it with arms soon.

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat.
