yep there's an 8374 TS in sydney. not sure on 7670 as I don't know of anyone using one/waiting for one.

not sure when you ordered but we ordered and paid for the first 9180 late last year (november from memory). and same goes for the bloke in syd who got his 8374 TS. same goes for the other mate of mine who is getting an 8374 but he's still waiting as of yesterday.

but yeah I think they are slowly starting to trickle out. they really do need to start getting more out as without some volume in the market interest will peter out and everyone will just go back to what is easily available.

I ordered and paid for mine mid January, I have had a few emails from Raffi and Geoff at Full-Race, So know about the casting issues with the Turbine Housings that B/W are having....It must be so frustrating for them , But was just curious if any other outlets have been sending them out yet.

There are about 7 or 8 distributors getting them at this point worldwide. The smaller frames have been available, but the larger framed turbos have been a crapshoot for all of us at this point. BW has been very open about who is getting what, and there just ins't anything out there yet. As soon as there are turbos available they send a few to each distributor (as stated earlier) and each distributor sends them out to the consumer. HOWEVER there are people stating they have them (ebay and other venues), collecting money and then scrambling to get some. Really a bad business practice. So as a general rule if you already have an order with a distributor it's not going to help ordering from another one. I would gladly tell you otherwise too, it's not like we're going to lose business and don't have people lined up waiting... It's just a tough spot to be in right now with these turbos.

Yes, I see Treadstone list that they have them in stock, Yet when asked they say they are 2-3 weeks away, I'm guessing they pulled that date outta their......

Since they are not a distributor your assumption is most probably spot on.

Lots of internet hype and then not being able to keep up with product demand... Someone is taking marketing lessons from Apple :)

Hopefully the end products are not shit like Apple :nyaanyaa:

LOL! Still loving my iPhone and MacBook.....Would have one of those virus ridden Windows PC/Android things again if you paid me!!

Ohh I'll go hunting for that!

And for the OT war, not an Apple fan either - did give the iPhone 4 a chance to try and impress but Samsung Galaxy S2 ftw, have converted a number of iPhone fans with it without actually trying to :D

That's like saying you are still loving masturbating and would never have sex because you might get a STD :P

Using Mac's for over 15 years too, NO WAY I'd ever switch. iPhone simply works, every time.

Yeah like a Toyota Corolla starts every time! Do you own one of them?

Man I'm trying to think of something to spank you with but youve covered your ass so well with that comment!

Not that I like apple at all, candy apple green skylines though....

LOL! each to their own....But as for the STD comment, I would rather have a wife with a "Clean Operating System" than a sleazy hooker that might give me a number of virus' YES!! HAHA!

This thread was getting bullsh*t enough on its own.

We've seen good results with the twin turbo set up, but haven't had a chance to really test the 8374 on the RB26 like we wanted (customer had a boost leak in dyno graph posted earlier). Now it's just too hot here to dyno it. We had a 118º day (48ºC) just the other day.... blink.gif

There is a twin kit now in AU as well as a 9180. So... we should see results soon!

well if you need a good 8374 result send me one!!! :) I have another R32 GTR here that would be perfect for it. currently 350kw with HKS 2530s (inc HKS manifolds, dumps and piping). with built engine.

but in other news yes the 9180 is here (and I think I sent you the pics thekeeper?)

and even better news the twin 6258 kit arrived last night and is now in my hot little hands. pics to come and results soon.

the turbo's are fantastic (looking). if they perform as well as they look I'm sure I'll be bringing in many more kits after this first one.

PS please excuse the quality of the pics. afterall they were taken with my bloody IPHONE4!!!!!

I think those iPhone pics look AWESOME. Ha ha! Glad you like the way it looks, I think you'll be very happy with results.

And... Thanks, yes Jon showed me the pics of the 9180, it looks right at home in your engine bay!

    • I checked the injectors again (1 and 2, since they’re easiest to access) to make sure they weren’t clogged. Even though the entire fuel system had been cleaned, I wanted to be certain. Everything looked clean, so I reinstalled and connected everything. When I started the car to confirm everything was okay, it immediately revved up high, so I shut it off straight away. I checked to see if I’d missed a vacuum hose or something, but everything was connected. On the second attempt, the car ran without the high idle, but I noticed a distinct “compressed air” sound coming from the engine bay. Tracing the sound, I pushed injector #6 forward slightly and the noise stopped — it turned out it wasn’t seated properly, despite the fuel rail being bolted down. While holding it in place, the car idled steadily without stalling and ran for over 5 minutes. At this point, I pulled all six injectors out just in case I hadn’t seated them correctly or dirt had gotten onto the O-rings. Unfortunately, I discovered that I had damaged 3 out of 6 injectors (the OEM 270cc ones) during installation. So yes, this was my fault. Since only the pintle caps were damaged, I’ve ordered a Fuel Injector Service Kit from NZEFI to refurbish them. In the meantime, I reinstalled my new injectors – the car now idles fine for over 15 minutes without stalling. I have not attempted to drive it so far. It’s not perfect yet, as it hesitates when the throttle is pressed, but it’s a big improvement. Unplugging the IACV with the new injectors idles at around 800rpm, even with the IACV screw tightened fully. But this is probably due to tune.
    • I wanted to try and preserve the front bumper as long as possible, they're not cheap and are made to order in Japan. Taking inspiration from my previous K11 Micra build where I made an undertray for the Impul bumper, I did the same for this BN Sports bumper but a little slimmed down.  This time round I only made a 'skid plate' (if that's the correct wording/term) for just the bumper surface area, the Micra version covered the gap like an undertray. Starting off with a sheet of mild steel approx. 0.9mm thick 4ft x 2ft in size. I traced around the bumper, cut it out and cleaned the edges. Luckily I was able to get two halves from one piece of metal In the video I installed it as is, but I've since then I've removed it to spray and add a rubber edging trim. The rubber trim is suitable for 1-2mm and it's a really nice tight fit. The bolts had to be loosened due to the plates being too tight against the bumper, the trim wouldn't push on I used some stainless M6 flat headed bolts for a flusher finish (rather than hex heads poking down), I believe this style fastener is used for furniture too incase you struggle to source some. The corner's are a little wider, but this may be an advantage incase I get close to bumping it  The front grill got some attention, finally getting round to repairing it. Upon removal one fixing pulled itself out of the plastic frame, one side is M8 that fixes inside of the frame, where as the other side is M5. Not knowing I could get replacements, I cut down an M8 bolt, threaded it inside the frame along with a decent amount of JB Weld.  The mesh was replaced to match the bumper. One hole on the bonnet/hood had to be drilled out to 8mm to accommodate the new stud, once the glue had set it could be refitted. I think the reason the grill was double meshed was to hide the horn/bonnet latch (which makes sense) but I much prefer it matching the bumper Bumper refitted and it's looking much better IMO The Youtube video can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bVZP35io9MA
