Hi guys,

Need to find someone that fits Stagea M35 windscreens. I've got my car with a cracked windscreen, and need to find out who would be able to stock/fit etc. the Stagea windscreen.

It's got the heated windcreen wiper section too if that makes any difference...

Out of interest, is the windscreen the same as the V35 skyline sedan/coupe??? Might help the local windscreen shops finding it in their system

Seems the skyline is the same as the M35.

Does anyone know a good windscreen fitter in Melbourne and what sort of price they would charge?

Cool.

Well, Pakenham Windscreens do a damn good job. I think the guys name is Phil, he can come to you to fit it.

National Windscreens quoted my mate $400 installed, but I don't know about availability

O'Brien supposedly have them in stock, but you may have to go without the tint at the top.

No idea what the implications of your heated windscreen wiper section is though.

PM'd.

I've used Obriens before and they did do great job on the Datsun 1600. Fortunately, I was with Shannons, and they have a windscreen replacement built into the premium.

I passed your number on today at lunch time, you should here from them soon,

Thats why I went with Shannons, because i would hate to have to pay for a new piece of glass for one of these!!

I was the one who started that thread...

I went with Instant Windscreens. $450 fitted - with the tint strip at the top and they only took 2 business days to come out and fit it. Not bad service considering the rarity of these cars.

O'Briens were more expensive and didn't have the tint strip.

    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
    • When you pulled it off, there is no signs of blown head gasket? Is it possible you have some other issues going on? Possible cracked blocked? Or do you think it's straight up lifting the head? Did you check what the head was torqued to before pulling it down (To see if possibly they're stretching, or starting to break threads out etc)?
