nope missus styled the FOOD lol... she brought the props etc

funny story though, I borrowed a tripod as well and had removed the handle to pack it... when I was setting up I had screwed the handle in the wrong way and the bloody mount kept flopping forward, I couldn't work out WTF was wrong until a customer came up and pointed out my error...embarrassment much!!! :P

Not bad Nick! Looks really professional.

Lol at the tripod, we all make those sorts of mistakes. I was doing a long exposure shot of a mates car the other day, and as I was talking to him the camera slowly dropped down... He just looked at it and went "you know there are pills for that, right?"

I love these shots, Jay - so simple, but you've got a good eye for shapes and leading lines.

I was outside this afternoon doing the shots for my Canon competition entry, and once I was done with that I decided that I would try and experiment with the 100mm macro lens and see what I could find that might be interesting.

See that thin metal rod coming into shot from the left of the photo? I don't remember it being there when I took this shot.

cheers. its getting harder each day though as ive shot so much of the city that finding new things to focus on is becoming a challenge.

and Slim, love that first one also. ive always tried to get the same effect but havent had much luck yet. the top on in my post is the closest ive come, which is still a fair way off, lol.

yeah good abstract with lines and shapes jay. they're all interesting and well composed.

how did ur canon shot turn out nick? is it a winner? Is it Egg-cellent?

nice work sam. the beach shots are nice but that first shot really stands out. it's full of radness!

ohh, just writing up an ad for a print graphic designer role at Penguin Books atm lol

shit pay tho  lol so meh I'll probably end up with someone with no experience I have to school up.

would have jumped at that job when I left Uni many moons ago, Penguin are a bit of an institution in the design community... but yeah publishing doesn't pay so well for GD...

I'm lucky in that I work for a studio that does a bit of everything... and my boss doesn't mind me taking on my own clients etc

    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
    • Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?
    • Hi.. Just another problem. So maybe you can help. I(my mechanic) done swap from my RB20DE NEO to RB25DET NEO. Everything is OK but we have a boost cut. Coils/Plugs are ok...AFM is ok. ECU is ok. I have Walbro 255 but it "changed" sound few months ago(you can hear it ouside) you did not hear that when it was new(maybe faulty?) Sooo...what now? What can cause this boost cut? It is even when you standing still...
