Nothing wrong with them if you want a cheap core that's made in singapore by mokeys who are paid $2 an hour....

But the supposed "kit" doesn't fit I've been told and takes quite a few hours to install it. But I've been told (By a reliable source) that they don't flow the best and wont give the maximum potential.

So I've been told the best options for me to take is either a GTR cooler or an Apexi/HKS/Trust one. I would prefer APexi to stay with one brand through the whole car. I'm just pedantic like that :D

Yeah they look hell tough and look like it would be harder to hurt the fins because of the way the metal comes over them.

That's another thing as well, the fins in the HYBRID are really weak and bend really easily. I dont want any mesh or anything over my cooler so the Apexi would be the best way to go. It's shorter but thicker so it's still relatively the same...

Sup..

Anyone know a good dent remover down on the coast.

I think i should get rid of this hail damage before i take the car out on the street

Dun want to look like the shittest skyline on the street :(

Dont worry... MJ has that spot sewn up with sweetr33 running a close second and predator coming in a multicoloured third... :D

Yep computers don't like heat.

Heat is the mortal enemy of all electrical equipment.

My poor 4.5yr old Leadtek GeForce 256 SDR which was the first GeForce on the block and cost me a ridiculous amount of money has finally thrown in the towel due to a stuffed slot fan and the heat...

Well you know who to come to for a replacement

(shameless promotion):Pimp2:

my geforce 3 TD leadtek which i got for $1200 ordered in for usa is still working today :D

but i got extra cooling since i used to live in mount isa :(

I thought I was one of the last trying to hold on to my geforce 3. I've got an Asus V8200 Deluxe and its still holding up, although its starting to show its age in the later games. Bloody thing cost me so much I just can't let go. My computer has a total of 8 fans, noisy as hell but keeps everything nice and cool.

Was talking to Phil today and the GTR is now in compliance!!!! Which means if I can organise myself tomorrow I shall go down the coast for a look. Sweet! Can't wait, its all getting very close now. Its only been 2 months and 2 weeks since I purchased the car, soooo long.

    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
