where did you get the turbo beanie?

hows it holding up? the ones i have seen don't last too long and have a habit of smoking really bad after a while.

Ebay, it's branded autobahn88...

So far so good, between it and the heat wrap on the dump it smoked for a while but now has cleared up and is fine :)

w00t all set for the T67, just waiting on some cash 2 morrow and it will be orderd. then its just a matter of a new dump/inlet and changing my intercooler piping a bit :D fun times ahead.

thanks for this build thread man, it is a good read and hopefully i gan get the 350rwkw im aiming for this time round and it tuned at status also.

Failed to make it down to the drags this week because I tried to reinstall the rear stock suspension to get a bit of squat in the rear end and because of all the alignment changes the bottom seat of the spring hits against the upper camber arm!

So I had a bit of a hissy fit and went f**k it I'm not going down at all and left the rear end in bits and on jack stands...

Going to get my shit together tonight and put the coilovers back in and then probably just raise the rear end a inch or 2 and run it like that down the drags with some MT ET streets, probably won't be a good time due to getting kicked out as soon as you run a 11.99 or better but will be good to see how high the mph will be.

Fingers crossed for at least a low 11 at 130+mph

Ah damm... So are you planning on taking it down next wednesday?

Well drags went ok, didn't get the best launch in the world but went for it anyway, ended up getting kicked out so only 1 pass on power.

Ran a 11.03 @ 132.5mph and the ANDRA official kicked me out and said to not come back without 10.99 or better regulations.

So close but no 10, at least the mph was healthy :)

Fck yeah mate, thats awesome. what tread did you use? with the coilovers or stock?

Coilovers, stock suspension hits on camber arms now. MT ET streets 255/50/16

thats moving. I think my t67 with 10 cm housing is goung on with rhe cams and e85. will see what abuse it can take and whether the lil 20 can keep on the boil down the qtr. god knows it will ne a shitty track setup

Mine was set up for track really, all I did was would the rears up 15mm and bolted on tyres. Those ET streets are surprisingly grippy haha

I always thought it was a 10.99 you needed before getting the boot, either way a very good time

11.99 you need a harness, tailshaft loop and andra licence etc... Because I was so close to a ten and mph was high he said I had to sort the 10.99 or quicker requirements as well, so cage plus lots more

    • Hi...so a "development" here aswell The swap is "done" and car went "test drive" BUT it seems the clutch(maybe gearbox?) is a little bit sad? I bought this clutch kit https://justjap.com/products/xtreme-heavy-duty-organic-clutch-flywheel-kit-nissan-skyline-r31-r32-r33-push-type "Problem" is that the first gear is hard to put into and it seems that the clutch is not disengaged. It was not the problem with the old clutch...(or like sometime the first gear would not get as easy specialy when the fluid was cold) So? Can it be like...bad "install" or is the clutch wrong ((it should not have been) i done research to get the right one) Or is this "normal" with new clutch and needs to be break in?
    • @Duncan I can try  and thanks i did not thought about VIN and part numbers for 33/34. @GTSBoy yeah it looks like iam gonna do that
    • Forgot to include this but this is the mid section of my steering rack that looks like it has a thread/can be turned with that notch mentioned in the post:
    • Hey everyone, Wanted to pick some brains about this issue I'm having with rebuilding my 33 rack (PN is 49001-19U05). All of the tutorials/videos I've seen online are either R34 or S Chassis racks which seem to be pretty straightforward to disassemble but this process doesnt carry over to my rack. Few of the key differences that I've noted The pinion shaft on the other racks bolt on with 3 torx bolts: Whereas my rack bolts on with 2 allen head bolts: These changes are pretty inconsequential but the main difference is how you pull the actual rack out of the housing. The other skyline/s chassis racks can be taken out by tapping the rack out of the body with a socket and it just slides right out. I'm unable to do that with my rack because there's a hard stop at the end that doesn't let the seal/shaft be tapped out. Can also see a difference in the other end of the rack where mine has a notch that looks like you're able to use a big wrench to unthread 2 halves of the rack whereas the other racks are just kinda set in with a punch. My rack: Other racks: TLDR; Wanted to know if anyone has rebuilt this specific model of steering rack for the R33 and if there were any steps to getting it done easier or if I should just give this to a professional to get done. Sorry if this post is a bit messy, first one I've done.
    • I would just put EBC back on the "I would not use their stuff" pile and move on.
