seeme to be no point getting antisurge with these turbos mate..

Mine and Jez... td06 with no antisurge >>..300kws..compressors maxed out

Simons and Battery.. t67 no antisurge >> 350kws ++++

dori changed to antisurge and lost 30kw..

.Moral of the story is ....Dont get antisurge :P

Just gone to buy a T67 10cm and there is none listed :( only the anti surge, which doesn't seem as good! Doh!

You can buy all the pieces separate so you should be able to work something out if you message him (if he replies lol). Also noticed that now the kits come with a braided drain.

Probably shoudl qualify that and say it was on E85 which is cheating.

I am yet to see enough results to think you can get 300rwkws out of a 20g on 98. 280rwkws is about what I think you can get out of a 20G. Can bag an extra 30rwkws with E85.

These days you almost need to talk about fuel before the boost level required

I didnt know there were any rules Roy ;)

LOL, of course there are no rules. But since E85 gives a bit of free power, until E85 is as common as 98 vs 95 its probably not a bad idea to just qualify the power results as people reading this will start to get stars in their eyes with regards to power they can make. LOL, sure as sh1t not many people will be able to bag 306rwkws out of a std RB20 running a 20G...difference being no RB20 punters bother running E85

yeah fair point... all 4 cars are running ethanol in some form so its fair to say its fairly common place these days. I will keep it in mind next time though..

But really, what do you care if people get stars in there eyes..I mean its all here to read and learn and we are hardly accountable for them not doing their homework are we??

I have read the 200 hundred pages of this thread alone more than once....not to mention the other 4 million threads I have read here for tips and advice...If some punk wants to walk in and read the last 5 pages of this thread, get stars in his eyes, then ask a few stupid questions and think they can mimic what I,you and others here have built, well I wish them the best of luck...

No doubt...but sometimes people see a number, spend the money and cant match the result and end up disappointed after spending thousands. Maybe I am wrong, but quoting E85 figures without specifying E85 can lead to disappointed people. I know I was disappointed when I couldnt match others results with 6boost manifolds, Plazmaman inlets and to an extent E85 results. I didnt really make any more power with E85 running the same boost pressure. What it did allow is me to run more boost and make more power when 98 stopped making grunt at 19-20psi. But much of that is probably associated with being a 20

So this thread is full of good results, but after years of people confusing 20G with 25Gs, T67s with T66 turbos etc...its good we now have a good database of power the Mistu turbos can make...so helps to keep the occasional qualifications on results ( IMO :) )

yes it is a great database thats also full of me talking alot of vaguely related rubbish

that reminds me, I didn't get a figure for pulp @ 17.5 psi on mine so I am not actually certain how much a difference E85 has made as my compressor seems maxed out either way.. ..With my previous result of 267 @ 15psi it could be fair to say that 290 @ 17.5psi could of been a possibility, so maybe I haven't really gained alot using E85..I do however believe it to be a better/cooler running, safer, fuel all round.. So any added power is a bonus really and I would happily run it even if it didnt make extra power..

Trent if you're reading and have those pulp figures could you throw em up for us..though I have a feeling we didnt do it..

I know I don't have a kando, but on the topic of E85 advantage above, mine ran 311rwkw on 98 at low boost and on the same boost level it ran 340rwkw on E70 (pump e-flex) :) so it sure helps

    • If they can dyno them, get them dyno'd, make sure they're not leaking, and if they look okay on the dyno and are performing relatively well, put them in the car.   If they're leaking oil etc, and you feel so inclined, open them up yourself and see what you can do to fix it. The main thing you're trying to do is replace the parts that perish, like seals. You're not attempting to change the valving. You might even be able to find somewhere that has the Tein parts/rebuild kit if you dig hard.
    • Can you also make sure the invoices on the box (And none exist in the boxes) are below our import duty limits... I jest, there's nothing I need to actually purchase and order in. (Unless you can find me a rear diff carrier, brand new, for stupidly cheap, that is for a Toyota Landcruiser, HZJ105R GXL, 2000 year model...)
    • Murphy strikes again! Nothing at all would have gone wrong if you had the tool kit in the car! You'd have just found the clamp loose the next time you went to touch it...
    • I have been being VERY quiet about what you're alluding to, as it is something that ticks me off... The number of cars from factory that run coil overs is HUGE! Most of them these days do... The other part that annoys me, is people saying "Well all the incabin adjustable suspension is illegal by blah blah blah"... If that's the case, then why can I buy a car brand new that can do it if, FULL STOP in cabin adjustable suspension is illegal...   Also, I could just chuck some aftermarket shocks in my car, throw the stock springs on, after my blue slip, dump my super low springs back in. Same shock and spring style setup... Hell, they could also be the same colour springs etc.     I'm voting, BlueSlipper didn't want to touch the above car for some reason. Whether it be some sort of bias against the car, the owner, them maybe having previously done dodgy shit and now they're being super careful in case they get slapped in the face by the Gumbyment again... Find a new blueslip place.   And can confirm as you had said, yes there are holy bibles of vehicle heights, and all sorts of other suspension stuff. Heck your run of the mill mechanic, and tyre shop has access to all of that stuff. It's how they do wheel alignments...
    • Funny story Heading to Sydney this morning on the HWY there was some slow traffic, so I gave it the beans and midway through my overtaking "power run" I lost all power It seems that I missed a hose clamp,  and the MAF and filter went WiFi To make this more problematic, the little tool kit that lives in the boot, is sitting in the sun room at Goulburn......LOL Luckily for me I found a bit of steel on the side of the road that could be used like a rusty and bent flat head screw driver to tighten it up enough that it got me into Sydney, it is now all tight like a tiger with the aid of a 8mm socket Note to self: Use my brain and double check stuff, and always keep that little tool kit in the car for when I have a brain fart
