Really considering the 8cm rear housing on my T67 25g really would like some more response but dont want to change turbos only making about 140kw at 4 k would love some more power in the 3800 4500 range

Truth is if i could yave my time again with singles on the RB25...TDO6-20G with 8cm if on E85 or 10cm if on 98

The 8cm is really too small but with E85 it masks the mismatch. If 98 you need the efficiency on the exhaust side and IMO need 10cm

The 20G was just pulled everywhere. Perhaps if my motor liked boost i would have liked the T67 more. But i had problems with the engine not making more power at 22psi than 18psi...assume its valve springs in my motor. Lol so i reserve to change my mind if with 24psi my T67 had made the 360-370i expected i may have liked it more than at 330rwkws which was only 15rwkws more than what i strangled out of the TD06-20G

My RB25 and TD06-20G 10cm on E85. This is straight off the external wastegate but ill be back to have the ebc dialled in hopefully tip the 300kw unopened ;) . Would buy another one of these turbos time and time again.

Have played around with my exhaust cam gear to bring boost on 500rpm earlier witch I believe will noise over up the top end earlier? Mainly street driven so response is key to me!

Keen for a retune.

I've been scrolling through alot of the pages in this thread and couldn't find many people using the TD06H 25g at all. I've been trying to read up on them for a few weeks now. I have a Rb25/30 that is just a slap together engine pretty much that I had tuned with a Kinugawa td06sl2 20g 8cm. Although it has pretty much instant boost, it lacks of go up around 5000 RPM, I normally don't rev it past 6000RPM. It also wasn't making any more power above 16psi (304rwhp) with a 38mm External waste gate welded to the rear housing.

I drive the car atleast 3 times a week on the street, Gymkhanas, Time Attack and Drifting. Im not really after alot of lag.

What I want to know is how Responsive will a H 25g 10cm be, Will it make full boost by atleast 4000RPM? Does any one have any experience with these on a RB25 or Rb25/30? Dyno sheets? I'd love to hear your experiences!

Td06h 25g 10cm makes full boost bye 4 on a rb25 so i would say ure probally looking at 3500 3600 full boost and still restrictive uptop.

I think something else is coming into play with your low power figure though

The 30DET in my 33 is running a TDO6H-25G 12cm single scroll, sitting on a Hybrid manifold and running a 50mm gate.

Running just on 17psi it's making 375rwhp on petrol. Full boost in 4th gear at 3500. Peak torque is held from 3500 to 7000, so turbine doesn't choke it.

Car is track only, in my build thread there's a few links to in-car video.

I would describe delivery as progressive and extremely predictable, traction friendly. But a touch lazy, and not necessarily what I'd want for motorkhana, hillclimb or road use.

The 10cm housing should be pretty good choice especially if you run E85 or water injection.

I'm looking to try one at end of season this year.

Has anyone had any issues with t67 fitting on new 6 boost manifold  i have a pre 2012 6 boost manifold and it doesnt fit my t67 on it as the t3 flange is parrall with engine so compressor housing fouls bye like 10 mm do the new ones  have this issue  ???

My t67 was hitting the rocker covers sitting on the 6 boost.

i just rotated the compress housing till the outlet was pointing to the ground and it fits then made my cooler piping from there.

Its hard to see in the dark photo. It's on a 25/30, also fitted on my 25

Im changing turbo setup now noticed the oil seal in my turbo has been leaking.

Anyone had there oil seal replaced might get it fixed to go back on my 25/30 build.

But for now im going to a hypergear hiflow setup

Current tune. Only difference is 268- 272 9mm cams to keep the vct and 22psi.

    • So, I put my boat on a boat. First of all, I'm going to come out and say it. Why is Tasmania not considered a holy goal, an apex that all road-legal modified cars go to, to experience? This place is an absolute wonderland of titanic proportions. If people are already getting club runs for once in a lifetime 30 person cruises to Tassy then I've never seemed to see it. It is like someone replaced the entire place with an idyllic wonderland for cars, and all of the people living there with paid actors who are kind, humble, and friendly. Dear god. After doing a lap of almost all of the place I've found that it's a great way to find out all of the little things that the car isn't doing quite right and a great way to figure it all out. All in all, I drove for 4 hours a day for a week and nothing broke. I didn't even need to open the engine bay. This is by all means a great success, but it has left me with a list of things to potentially address. I also now have a 3D printed wheel fitment tool which annoyingly hasn't got any threads in it to actually assemble it. I might be able to tape it together to check the sizing I actually want to use, but it'll likely involving pulling the shocks out to properly measure travel at least at the front, and probably raise the car while I'm at it, at least in the rear. I scraped on quite a few things and I'm not sure how else to go about it. I was taking anything with a bump at what felt like 89 degree angles. And address those 10 other tasks. And wash the car. God damn it is dirty. And somehow, the weather was perfect the entire time - And because I was on the top of Mt Wellington it turns out it was very much about to freeze up there. I did something I typically never do and took some photos up there in what must have been -10 and the foggy felt like suspended ice, rather than mere fog. If you own a car in Australia, you owe it to yourself to do it.
    • Damn that was hilarious, and a bit embarrassing for skylines in general 馃槀 vintage car life ey. That R33 really stomped. Pretty entertaining stuff
    • Hi, I have a r32 gtr transmission. Does any of you guys have an idea how much power it will hold with the billet center plate and stock gearset? At what power level and use did yours brake with or without billet plate? Thanks, Oystein Lovik
    • Saw this replica police car based on a Mitsubishi Starion XX parked next to a 'police box' (it's literally a box) in Hirohata, Himeji City in Hyogo prefecture the other day. It's owned by Morii-san who is a local Mitsubishi Starion enthusiast. According to a local radio station blog post, he always wanted to make a police car himself based on ones he saw in his favourite Manga comics.  As it's illegal to modify a car to look like a police car and drive on the road, Morii-san tried many times to get permission from Aboshi police station headquarters nearby. They refused initially by after they got tired of that they granted him permission. However, the car can only be displayed on private property and obviously can't be registered as long as the police livery is present. The car was completed at a cost of 1.5 million yen (US$ 10,000) in addition to the car cost. A location was chosen outside Hirohata Police box where the car can easily been seen from the street. Morii-san has two other Starion road cars, both widebody GSR-VRs.
