Air Filter On Garrett Gt3076R Turbo

Hey Guys,

Just curious as to what brand of air filters you guys run on the Garrett GT3076R turbos, or any GT 30 Series Turbo for that matter...

I am just finishing up an upgrade to a set of these, and just in the process of finding a set of air filters that will fit on to the front of the turbine housing.

Was speaking to K&N but they reckon they dont make any filters with a wide enough mouth to fit over the front of the turbo.... but im sure I have seen them fitted before.

Any ways over to you guys, what type do you have fitted to your turbos and any recommendations?

4" inlet....so just about every air filter manufactuer makes one to fit.

P.s It will go on the compressor housing not the turbine housing

There are about 30 K&N filters that fit 4"

It'd be a lot better to make a 4" intake pipe and sealed cold air feed tho.

I have one for sale, used for about 3000km's

has a 4" 90deg aluminium pipe as well that i had on my GT35

Didn't even realise I wrote turbine side, would be funny to see though.... Would last all of one second before it went up in flames!

Suppose K&N is the way to go.... anyone try other brands?

If your running an air flow meter it doesn't matter. You will need to get a reducer down to 3 inch to the afm. Then run a pod.

If you don't have an afm. Go nuts lol

Ha ha ha... It's going on a 355 twin turbo, so was checking out how you guys with the skylines run things with set ups and what not, seeing as though Nissan have been playing with forced induction for like.....forever!
