Check out my Website 2.0 if you're bored!

Will check out the website now Matt.

Serg - Yeah, i donno why i didn't get it, i kind of expected it lol. I had references from SAU,Nissan Silvia, OzFoz, Ferrari Club, Yokohama Australia, Magazine shots in the Lambo club of Aus magazine, Hot4's mag photos, Advertisement banners for Yokohama that were in Motor/Fast fours/PI bla bla, Photo that was on the advanwheels website, the tuners group reference, photos off the tuners group website, photos off JDMST website bla bla. I had all that stuff.

They mostly said my lack of a business plan and not a wide variety of photos let me down but "strongly recommend" i resubmit and that my photos are beyond expectations.

What photos did you submit and what did you write in your business plan(if you don't mind me asking)? I kind of picked photos that i thought THEY would like as variety not what i really liked. I didn't want to send in 10 panning shots though lol. I've got ideas for what to submit next year its whether i can get access to them or not.

eg) http://mattheweveringham.com/?p=369

How would you scroll thru those photos?

Maybe something to think about. Also the blog doesnt look like a blog tho?? I reckon keep blog and project 365 different. Just my 2cents tho.

What do yout hink?

The idea was the photo is the one in the banner for the P52. I wasn't going to put a bunch of shots up. If there's some other shots to support it i could just add them to the main body of writing. does that make sense?

I don't know what you mean about the blog not looking bloggy? just the lay out? how would you suggest laying it out?

i was thinking of maybe seperating the 52 and blog later when i have content. i agree it would be heaps neater :) thanks man

not a photo but semirelated

Yeah just so over all the immature idiots (maybe it's just because I'm getting old - do turn 30 this year...)

Pretty much the only section I visit (and have been visiting for ages) is the Photography one - you guys are ok (even if Matt is a homosexual :P)

Also - some nice pics guys, Sidd those two model ones are awesome. Matt I think the website looks fantastic. And I disagree with Kory about it needing a more personal feel :)

Ps Haven't really taken any SLR pics lately but did put this together:

Ah ok makes sense. When i think of a blog I think of mine, or all the examples on wordpress. That sorta layout. But i guess thats personal perference. Eitherway the website is looking much cleaner than before!! Im sure over time you will keep on changing things.

Zennon - Cheers mate. Yea shes getting pretty famous now!! Wonder if she used any of my images for her portfolio to a high end client or something hahah.

bnr - first panning shot is fantastic.

Finally got to have a quick look in this tunnel I had been keen on seeing.

Every time I was in the area it was too wet, until today.

Would have been nice to have a tripod with me but this didnt come out too bad for handheld I guess.

Matt is totes a homo!

All of these pics are epic! Must pick up my camera again and start shooting!

Maybe I read too many wedding blogs lol. They are all so personal, sometimes I forget some of us are motorsports/automotive 'togs lol.

Pfft, I'm just a random dude with a decent camera!

Serg, your panning shots are getting better and better, Matt's right about that!

Matt, new website update looks pretty good!

nice shots jay! that last alley one is cool. just need to find the seediest looking individual(YOU) and get them standing just out of the light in some dark clothes to give an outline only. would look very very evil! that ceiling looks like star ship enterprise man! beam me up!

thanks random dudes with cameras. there's just a couple small things i want to do, like make new banners for some different pages. stuff i'll probably get to do over next week.

sidd i'll be sending your pics tomorrow.

Photographed my friends wedding last year. Have finally put sample pics onto my blog.

My friend loved this photo so thought I post this one up. Gonna do a large print on canvas for her as a present.

    • I guess one thing that might be wrong is the manifold pressure.  It is a constant -5.9 and never moves even under 100% throttle and load.  I would expect it to atleast go to 0 correct?  It's doing this with the OEM MAP as well as the ECU vacuum sensor. When trying to tune the base map under load the crosshairs only climb vertically with RPM, but always in the -5.9 column.
    • AHHHH gotchaa, I'll do that once I am home again. I tried doing the harness with the multimeter but it seems the car needed a jump, there was no power when it was in the "ON" position. Not sure if I should use car battery jump starter or if its because the stuff that has been disconnect the car just does send power.
    • As far as I can tell I have everything properly set in the Haltech software for engine size, injector data, all sensors seem to be reporting proper numbers.  If I change any injector details it doesnt run right.    Changing the base map is having the biggest change in response, im not sure how people are saying it doesnt really matter.  I'm guessing under normal conditions the ECU is able to self adjust and keep everything smooth.   Right now my best performance is happening by lowering the base map just enough to where the ECU us doing short term cut of about 45% to reach the target Lambda of 14.7.  That way when I start putting load on it still has high enough fuel map to not be so lean.  After 2500 rpm I raised the base map to what would be really rich at no load, but still helps with the lean spots on load.  I figure I don't have much reason to be above 2500rpm with no load.  When watching other videos it seems their target is reached much faster than mine.  Mine takes forever to adjust and reach the target. My next few days will be spent making sure timing is good, it was running fine before doing the ECU and DBW swap, but want to verify.  I'll also probably swap in the new injectors I bought as well as a walbro 255 pump.
    • It would be different if the sealant hadn't started to peel up with gaps in the glue about ~6cm and bigger in some areas. I would much prefer not having to do the work take them off the car . However, the filler the owner put in the roof rack mount cavities has shrunk and begun to crack on the rail delete panels. I cant trust that to hold off moisture ingress especially where I live. Not only that but I have faded paint on as well as on either side of these panels, so they would need to come off to give the roofline a proper respray. My goal is to get in there and put a healthy amount of epoxy instead of panel filler/bog and potentially skin with carbon fiber. I have 2 spare rolls from an old motorcycle fairing project from a few years back and I think it'd be a nice touch on a black stag.  I've seen some threads where people replace their roof rack delete with a welded in sheet metal part. But has anyone re-worked the roof rails themselves? It seems like there is a lot of volume there to add in some threads and maybe a keyway for a quick(er) release roof rack system. Not afraid to mill something out if I have to. It would be cool to have a cross bar only setup. That way I can keep the sleek roofline that would accept a couple bolts to gain back that extra utility  3D print some snazzy covers to hide the threaded section to be thorough and keep things covered when not using the rack.
    • Probably not. A workshop grade scantool is my go to for proper Consult interrogation. Any workshop grade tool should do it. Just go to a workshop.
