I'll be down there at JapLink 175 P'Matta Rd 9.30am on both of the next two Wed (2nd & 9th)(with keys in hand) if anyone wants a peek at our new Clubhouse.

Perhaps next Mon (28th) as well (re: my wife's car).

Darn, business hours. I'm locked in the corporate S&M Dungeon from hell. Did someone take some pictures? Might also be good for someone to draw up some scale layouts so we can get an idea of how we can optimally use the space.

Corinne said she'd sew some curtains

What what what? When did I mention this? lol

imagine how many engines steveo would blow up with a dyno at his finger tips lol

Fkn lol!

Who wants the presence of ladies? Vs Who wants adult mags?

'cause you can't damn well have both! :P

Ok I'll donate some fhm & zoo mags if anyone wants them, otherwise they will be chucked out by the end of the week!

Hey does anyone have a racing bucket seat? I'm thinking it would be cool to make a racing simulator. I have a spare racing wheel and some older computer equipment. I can weld up a frame but just need a decent racing seat.

How cool would that be for the clubhouse? Say a best laptime leader board in the clubhouse?

... hi :) ... i have a simulator ... Tillet racing bucket seat ... steering wheel/pedals ... the simulator was designed in the UK by 2 go cart world champions ... the driving postion is fantastic ... its all fully adjustable ... its set up for use in front of a plasma screen & best with an amplifier & a couple of speakers ... i use it with playstation 2 & Gran Turismo 4 ... i just checked & have got Gran Turismo 4 100% completed on a memory card with every car in every colour including first place trophies for every race & all gold licences ... even got every formula 1 car ... the Nurburgring once you nail it is so much fun ! ... im just in the middle of sourcing bits for a Gran Turismo 5 & playstation 3 set up ... the one i have is very portable & im more than happy to bring it along for "driving nights" with the playstation 2& Gran Turismo 4with 100% complete on the memory card ... i still use it but will be happy to part with it & leave it at the club once ive gotten the playsation 3 & Gran Turismo 5 one up & running (couple of months) ... :) ...

JapLink and The SAU Clubhouse are relocating to Rydalmere over the next couple of months.

JapLink will still be offering services at discount to SAU Members.

JapLink have two Japanese technicians and they need more room.

JapLink is no longer in the retail business of selling cars except through orders: so if you see something nice on auction....

JapLink will be installing a dyno.

JapLink will still compliance & blue slip & pink slip cars.

SAU Clubhouse on Grnd Fl, has access to a kitchen + 6 toilets + 2 shower-rooms + a view!

Downside > next door is a gay establishment which I think is utilised at night - but I don't know - I'm heterosexist or whatever it's called.

Their security has police cars going up and down the street pretty often - again; so I've been told Lol

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
