Hi all,

can't find much on here about it, but I had a look at Enkei's fitment guide and they are saying a 19x10 +35 is best fit for an R34 GTR, I was looking to stuff a 20x10+35 in there, with a 275/30/R20.

Can anyone see a problem with this?

The rolling diameter of my stocks with 265/35R18's RE01's will be just over 3%, so no real matter philosophically there for me, I think the std ratios are a little short anyway. will have copy z-tune guards and lowered adjustable suspension and bushes to reduce cambers and help keep more tyre on the road.

those wheels are shit.

why would u put 20s on a r34 gtr?

19s are more than enough and as above said that off set will be shit,

gtrs need low off sets to look good, no more than +20 at the most

20x10 +35 WILL NOT clear the front wishbone thingy.

If U want big wheels, PLEASE consider 19's! Why did you buy an amazing performance car if you're just gonna take the performance away and rice it up?

Try and find some 19x10 +15 and get some 265/30R19's. It won't handle as well as stock wheels but is probably an acceptable compromise between performance and bling.

    • Hopefully it ends up being something manageable, like a hone, rather than a full bore—it would be a huge relief if it’s not as bad as it looks. Hang in there; these setbacks are annoying, but it sounds like you’re handling it as smartly as possible.

    • Thanks MBS206, i got that PDF but got abit overhelm with all the connections and tracing of wires. I wasn't expecting to plug the dash harness anywhere. i was just going to use my electronics jumper wires to plug into the right pins like ECU power, ecu ground, ignition trigger etc... I do have a few ratchet straps locking it down tight. Fire extinguisher ready and only a small amount of fuel at a time, enough to submerge the pump.

Though, you don't need the dash plugged in to get the motor running. What you want is power as how GTSBoy said. You need to power the ECU. Find in the above link the ECU pin outs (Verify them before just connecting them up from things written on the internet). Find anything needing power, give it power, find anything needing ground, give it ground. Then give the starter motor power through a big cable, and bridge the solenoid on the starter straight to power too.  ECU will be on, and when you give the starter power, it'll spin the starter motor, and it should start. I also hope you have a proper stand, and not just the engine sitting on some wood. You will want it bolted down properly.
