Did anyone see the 1987 soarer listed on prestiges website today? That would have been a nice run-around car.

I pointed it out to a workmate and he rang Geoff to buy it but it was already sold.

It was estimated to fetch over $11k landed but went for $19xxx.

i bought my r32 privately around late december/early jan and still havent received import approval. i hope yours is accepted fastret han mine was cause its really starting to piss me off

also that soarer is the biggest sleeper

How are you getting the car imported? As a personal import or 15 y.o. rule? I've been quoted one week with the new web-based RAWS system, but the only real rule of the thumb importing is to triple the time and double the cost....

Don't forget Dluded you have to import according to month now

Unless you bought it before the cutoff date where they introduced that rule (Before September you wouldve had to have bought it) otherwise you'll have to wait till the month of manufacture. Maybe thats why they havnt approved it?
