Why don't you try to bend some PVC piping out on the ends to create the shape of the duct and then paint it black. It is really easy stuff to mold with some heat. :)

Yeah, I'll look at rolling some sheet to the right shape once I receive the bar. If I can get it to look good, I'll probably go that way.

Had a look through other pieces of paper/brochures etc for any other identifiying part number, but no cigar. Page from the Parts bok attached (Same as Cam's Fast search)..

Aero Bumper Parts Book.pdf

Thanks for having a look, that was about as far as we could get too. Appreciate the effort.

Cheers, Dale.

Foglights needed for Aero bar?

Auction Ends today:

Nice find, thanks!

I've got Aaron from IM on the case, looking for the lights & surrounds for me.

Cheers, Dale.

I won these...but now I have a feeling they won't fit on my aero bar without some other parts....arrgh

For the record, they're more or less exactly what bolts into my Kenstyle front bar - I dont have any other parts/surrounds, so it could be okay

Do the grey blanking plates bolt or clip in by any chance?

I have seen a few that have neither the blanking plates nor the fog lights and there is a frame there with four holes (from memory)

The blanking plates are clipped on I think...Or bolted. Either way they can come off...

I take it that the connectors to operate the foglights should be there?

So if I turn on these foglights they will come on along with the built in foglights?

if you really wanted you could probably wire them to a secondary switch.

you could have only the fogs on then if you wanted.. looks nice imo

Thats what I've got, but mine stay off because its illegal to drive with fog lights on if its not foggy or misty

really?

It isn't in Vic i dont think..

I think its SA specific, Im not sure how increasing your visibility (Both to be seen and to see) is a negative - but apparently it is :worship:

According to the Department of Transport, Energy and Infrastructure, and I quote:

Drivers can only use front fog lights in hazardous weather conditions. This brings the rule into line with the existing situation for rear fog lights. Use of fog lights in other conditions can dazzle oncoming drivers. Previously front fog lights that dazzled approaching drivers were dealt with as an offence under a different rule.

Thats right, they'll dazzle you. Awesome. Thanks government.

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
