you rode in the wheelchair on the second round?? nice.

yeah sry Joe, im real bad with names. good to meet ya, and i expect a fight for the seat next time.:nyaanyaa:

glad yas all made it home ok, you didnt need to turn off at beams, just follow that road right out to Linkfield drive. sounds like you all got the turnoff down to Becketts road on the rode rd round about anyways, thats about the only place you can get vaguely lost.....def not as good a run as we had in the morning

that racing P plate camry on the Centenary highway (just before it turned to 60km/h near Cootha) was soooo close to running up the arse of the overbreaking commo ute :) i had a good laugh at him.....why gas it into a row of braking cars??? i gave him a thumbs up.

all good man, ended up turing off Beams road on to gympie road

Was definatly alot more traffic on the way home, and definatly used more fuel lol

ended up getting a video of the "wheelchair' goin past me on the straight on the second round... god damn it sounded tuff!

Sounds tuff from the inside too.

a pleasure as always. bring on more dry happylaps, and lakeside

Next month we've got Happylaps at Lakeside as well as a Motorkhana out at QR! Will be a HEAP of fun. Check the events section ;-)

Sup Bishes,

Anyone doing anything with there car atm?

This forum has been slow lately time to poke you lot with a stick domokun.gif

Now that is done, It's time we all got our asses into gear and got our memberships sorted out for the following reasons:

Happy Laps at lakeside will be restricted to members only from now on.

Happy Laps at QR will be Cheaper.

Chris will only rape our wallets a little bit less on Security gear for our babies (only speculating on the level of rape, Chris is a good guy with mad skills worth every coin he charges)

Motokhana...enough said

Cool stickers.

Skidpan days

2 events every month.

While membership is not mandatory and is not required for our meets and usual tomfoolery, It will make your ownership of an Import a lot less likely to result in the police taking your licence by providing an outlet for you to unleash your inner race driver or skid kid.

I will be making a lot more effort this year to be involved with club events and happenings, and I encourage you to do the same.

February seems to be the plan for weekly or fortnightly meets to start up again, please provide us with some input as to what night and what venue you guys are interested in.

I generally do a $50-75 discount if I know and can prove you are a club member. always good to give back to the club you support.

as for venue - not fussed happy to drive.

spoke with clint about the BBQ thing, i has BBQ and room to work on cars under roof. so im more than keen to have a few of these here at my place.

as i said tho, not before the wedding can i do this. so starting March shouldnt be an issue, een to head anywhere else beforehand

If anything is happening the week between 11th Feb and 18th Feb My partner and I will Around Brissy/Sunny cost for that week so would be keen to meet some people! Also, anyone know of any decent paying admin jobs going around City/Northside (looking to base out of Mango Hill area) getting our act together! Hope to be up there by April :)

Thanks it's a start but I need full time and decent pay otherwise I can't afford to move up without having to sell my car (which isn't an option) having been in retail before I won't be going back unless it is a last resort... And I have almost finished a business diploma so don't want to put that to waste lol. The other thing I would look at is full time Gym work as I am a qualified PT. I saw a few advertised on seek but not sure where else to look for jobs around Brissy lol

if your a PT , hit up http://www.fitprofessionals.com.au/ they have alot more jobs than seek ever does, and dont cost you anything to register and they find you a job as the gyms pay them

for jobs other than that, hit up seek and i find typing the suburb name in the search field and leaving all other fields blank/on any seems to net the most jobs in the right area rather than the useless NORTH selection that gives you jobs on the southside...

Yes, there is Happy laps on the 18th at Lakeside. we could probably do a meet and greet that week as well.

Check here: http://unitywater.com/About-Us/Careers.aspx

Unity is always looking for people and some admin roles will be coming up shortly.

My mum managers Crossroads at Strathpine (not far from mango hill), pretty sure they re short on staff she was saying

its not really admin and dunno how much it pays but its a start

Thanks Man, Yeah it kept coming up with ones on Southside, was driving me insane! I'll try it with the suburbs :D

    • Can I suggest you try EBC directly again and link them to as many competitor catalogues as you can to show their listing is incorrect, eg https://dba.com.au/product/front-4000-series-hd-brake-rotor-dba42304/ If you have access to an R33 GTST VIN and your VIN, you could also use a Nissan Parts lookup like Amayama to show them the part number is different between 33 GTST and 34 GTT which may get their attention
    • So i got reply from EBC and they just this site where you can clearly see those 296mm fronts on R34 GTT. I send them photos and "quotes" that 296mm are not for 34 GTT and they are too small. But it will be very hard to return them cuz nobody here knows 100% and they just copy those EBC catalogue :-D https://ebcbrakesdirect.com/automotive/nissan/skyline-r34
    • Hi, is the HKS  Tower Bar still available ? negotiable ? 🤔
    • From there, it is really just test and assemble. Plug the adapter cables from the unit into the back of the screen, then the other side to the car harness. Don't forget all the other plugs too! Run the cables behind the unit and screw it back into place (4 screws) and you should now have 3 cables to run from the top screen to the android unit. I ran them along the DS of the other AV units in the gap between their backets and the console, and used some corrugated tubing on the sharp edges of the bracket so the wires were safe. Plug the centre console and lower screen in temporarily and turn the car to ACC, the AV should fire up as normal. Hold the back button for 3 sec and Android should appear on the top screen. You need to set the input to Aux for audio (more on that later). I put the unit under the AC duct in the centre console, with the wifi antenna on top of the AC duct near the shifter, the bluetooth antenna on the AC duct under the centre console The GPS unit on top of the DS to AC duct; they all seem to work OK there are are out of the way. Neat cable routing is a pain. For the drive recorder I mounted it near the rear view mirror and run the cable in the headlining, across the a pillar and then down the inside of the a pillar seal to the DS lower dash. From there it goes across and to one USB input for the unit. The second USB input is attached to the ECUtec OBD dongle and the 3rd goes to the USB bulkhead connected I added in the centre console. This is how the centre console looks "tidied" up Note I didn't install the provided speaker, didn't use the 2.5mm IPod in line or the piggyback loom for the Ipod or change any DIP switches; they seem to only be required if you need to use the Ipod input rather than the AUX input. That's it, install done, I'll follow up with a separate post on how the unit works, but in summary it retains all factory functions and inputs (so I still use my phone to the car for calls), reverse still works like factory etc.
    • Place the new daughterboard in the case and mount it using the 3 small black rivets provided, and reconnect the 3 factory ribbon cables to the new board Then, use the 3 piggyback cables from the daughterboard into the factory board on top (there are stand offs in the case to keep them apart. and remember to reconnect the antenna and rear cover fan wires. 1 screw to hold the motherboard in place. Before closing the case, make a hole in the sticker covering a hole in the case and run the cable for the android unit into the plug there. The video forgot this step, so did I, so will you probably. Then redo the 4 screws on back, 2 each top and bottom, 3 each side and put the 2 brackets back on.....all ready to go and not that tricky really.
