hi all,

thanks for ur support ........ just an update for those who want to look at the pictures of F**KED Bodykit................ I can't upload any pics due to my car being fixed at JETSPEED IN CLAYTON......... i have to buy a new bodykit from JETSPEED as the guy told me that it will cost me more to repair and fix the kit ,,,,,,,,, so he will take the bodykit off my car and i will upload the pictures of side skirts and rear bar and front bar............ but i can't upload the pictures of spoiler as guy at JETSPEED will fix it for me.................... i want to bash this guy (FIRTY2---his SAU username) but he is too young (21).............. feel sorry for him..........

is there any possibility aside from his shit job, that the kit you had was shit i mean if he had to lengthen the side skirts just to fit the blame may not lie solely with him.

get what ya pay for.

To ALR33X,

mate , take your car to him and tell him to paint your plastic spoiler...........then you will see yourself (that what he did to my geniune (plastic) series 2 spoiler......... you can say anything while sitting at your home on your computer but be realistic......... i am not idiot who will spend $1500 on shit fibreglass kit ...................... if he knows anything about bodykits then i was not discussing these things with you..........pinch.gif

"Hey guys thought I'd share with you some work i'm currently undertaking for a fellow SAU member

Car: R33

Body Kit: Veilside Rear Bar, Unknown skirts, Series 2 Wing.

Being trusty fiberglass its had to be modified; the skirts have been extended by 2cms and the rear bar has been cut into 3 pieces and shut back together.

Pics are of work so far and will upload more as I get it done. "

sounds like you bought a shit kit, gave it to an unknown and expected a miracle.

the poor man pays twice sir.

That sounded like alot of work done to the body kit.

Although I hate to say it too, the body kit was prepared and worked in a worst possible way. So either it has to be a a very bad quality, or the person responsible didn't have the experience of body kits (Genuine or replicas).

You could really have gone to a reputable place if you weren't sure of the quality of the body kit.

Sorry to hear about your incident. Hope you learn from this and get a good outcome.

lol $1500 is a cheap kit and $900 is cheap for a fit/paint

i had my front bar fitted PERFECTY (note correct use of caps lock) by micolour and that alone was a $1000 job

quit whinging

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
