normally they have a session for street cars/race cars/open wheelers/dudes who have paid for a v8 thing/driver training/mate of teh owners/mate of the owners dog session ect

so there are like 7 15 minute sessions which means you get f**k all track time

when sharing a car it becomes painfully slow

but the plan is to slapp some plates on and send jenna out in the road cars session , then ill do the race car session with the multitude of wankers going hectik( including myself)

never been to wakefield....or any track..(feeling like a nubie) .. I've got an r33 gtr, pretty keen to have a bit of fun - off the streets - for a change. Keen to meet up wit all you skyline drivers and see ur skills!

could you tell us what i need to bring, how much it'll cost etc

just get the hell out of my way on the straight if i have been on your arse all the way through the corners, your for sure faster on the straight but will be a moving roadblock in the twisty bits...

PSYCHE

all good, be nice to have so many skyline drivers there even on a normal day. hope to god its not as painful as someone on here mentioned..

There are laptop car chargers but can be weak as in it will charge slow but at least it is something. Dick Smith has power inverters for about $60.

Put the laptop under the chair then when you drive out you can just put it back on the seat. I would highly recommend some kind of mounting position though. Don't want your laptop flying out the window haha.

I'd be more worried about being hit by a flying laptop myself.

Remember, if a solid one or two kilo object comes loose while you have a lose at 130+kmh, it's enough to kill you.

lol at the idea of having a loose and heavy object in the car while screaming around the track.

Your laptop should be OK if you leave it at the garages. If you aren't comfortable with this maybe you should consider not taking the laptop at all

im sure you've got plenty, im keeping that one for myself.

ok so ive already ordered some new brakes. im still deciding on if i should throw in the injectors and get it tuned.

i just need to see if i can get someone to drive my car down for me.

because you're all gay. real men data log. especially when my car isnt tuned yet.

If it isn't tuned, the worst thing you could do is put it on the race track and flog it for 10-15 minutes straight.

The only thing it'll tell you is why you have fuel in your oil, or a hole in your piston.

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
