Please dont buy a GTR... Please stay in your falcadore.....

So you are buying a Gtr, and This guy is saying that this r32 Gtr has a r33 Gtr engine and gearbox, and how can i tell is he talking shit or not?

Ok, have a look at the engine numbers and see if they match up to the info on the plates.....

Also, please for the love of god, stay in school.

Hey Guys, I am Planning to buy a gtr, and this guy says that his r32 gtr has a rb26 and gear box out of a r33 gtr, I am not smart enough to figure it out by myself if he is talking the trash. the guy says it has a gt 28/60 -5 turbo and the engine has been rebuilt, it is currently making 328kw at all four wheels on 21 psi, What i want to know is 21 psi too much boost for the engine to handle?

Thanks for your help people

    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
