I'm getting neck massage and some sort of electrical muscle stimulation in my lower-back twice a week which definitely helps. It also can end up with me having splitting migraines and unable to function for the rest of the day

That very well could be a TENS machine; think I mentioned how it may help in my PM to you last week.

Ive got 2 here, one works with the pads around the area that is being worked on (for me thats the knees), the other one I have you stick the elec.pads at base & top of spine, effectively reduces signals of pain thru the spinal cord to the brain.
