hahaha pete's evo off the track at mallala on the new motive in shanes feature!

they had to put that in!

hahahahaha poor Pete!! It's gonna haunt him forever!

Hmmm *...**thinking aloud while writing in my diary**.....Vu & Adrian are no longer my friends...The End.

wow!

aussie dollar has had 10c (vs USD) wiped off in a fortnight.

Now below $1USD.

I trust that is all thats needed for the Reserve bank to finally lower the default interest rate.

Im wondering how many others are in similar situations to myself. Lose job (only wage in family) due to injury, relationship breakdown & subsequent split (due to health & finances), leads to default on mortgage repayments = forced sale of house.

Anyways Im setting some goals to turn my situation around (eventually). Back to Uni next year for minimum 4 years to study Radiation Therapy, funds from the house sale will be only about 50k once Ive paid out 100k each to the bank/parents/ex-wife. That'll have to last me until Im qualified to be in the workforce as a Radiologist. As it is currently Im living below the poverty line so Ive only got myself to rely on to turn it all around.

Theres a hell of alot more factors than the strength of the dollar that influence interest rates, i wouldnt get your hopes up Tangles

moreso hopes for all home owners out there.

In a months time I'll be in the rental game, for the 1st time since I was a teen & moved out of home aged 17.

All comes down to 'subject to sale' though, ie purchaser of my home needs to sell their home. End of the day I HAVE to sell, due to a) monthly 'income' lower than repayment rate, and b) marriage breakdown leading to payout of assets.

Cheers Andrew, i know about those ones and have sent my friends emails on both cars.

Was kinda hoping there were other people that were thinking about selling that have not advertised as yet or anybody that knows of someone that is considering selling there M35.

I am definetley pushing them towards BoostedR's car as i know he looks after his cars but they make the final decision.

Am I missing something? How is this deal with Malaysia working for aussies Gillard?

We struck a deal with Malaysia to swap 800 asylum seekers for 4000 refugees at a cost to us taxpayers of $76M to process and transport the asylum seekers to Malaysia and $300M to process and transport the refugees here?

So $376 million for 3200 (4000-800) individuals? Seriously, can someone explain this to me ... I've been out of touch for the past week, and this is what I saw in the headlines yesterday.

But don't worry. Her carbon tax will cover that.

Ruby how is your wife after the accident?

I hope she is ok - my thoughts go out to your family.

Thanks Brendan. She's been home since the weekend and is currently asleep and resting. Surgeons gave her 6 weeks off work ... but she's only got enough leave for 3. >_< Things are going to be on the tight side for a while.

She keeps complaining that she's going to have some big ugly scars ... but I'm just thankful that she's still here in one piece. I've realised exactly just how much I care for her over the last 1.5 weeks.

    • By popular demand.. it was a coil. Got my hands on 1 new OEM coil, replaced with the one that made the less noise difference when I unplugged it while the car was running and started the car up. No stutter and the engine light was gone. I guess I’ll buy the other 5 they have lol
    • No, code 21 is very straightforward. It can only be the things described in that diagnostic flow. In fact it has no way of knowing that the spark plug resistance is out of spec.
    • Hi, SteveL Thank you very much for your reply, you seem to be the only person on the net who has come up with a definitive answer for which I am grateful. The "Leak" was more by way of wet bubbles when the pedal was depressed hard by a buddy while trying to gey a decent pedal when bleeding the system having fitted the rebuilt BM50 back in the car, which now makes perfect sense. A bit of a shame having just rebuilt my BM50, I did not touch the proportioning valve side of things, the BM50 was leaking from the primary piston seal and fluid was running down the the Brake booster hence the need to rebuild, I had never noticed any fluid leaking from that hole previously it only started when I refitted it to the car. The brake lines in the photo are "Kunifer" which is a Copper/Nickel alloy brake pipe, but are only the ones I use to bench bleed Master cylinders, they are perfectly legal to use on vehicles here in the UK, however the lines on the car are PVF coated steel. Thanks again for clearing this up for me, a purchase of a new BMC appears to be on the cards, I have been looking at various options in case my BM50 was not repairable and have looked at the HFM BM57 which I understand is manufactured in Australia.
    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
