Hey guys im looking for some input as to what colour leather i should get in my White R33 Series 2 skyline, i dont want black to be honest as it is quite plain and boring but what colour leather would go well with my white skyline? also if anyone has any photos of their leather interiors please post them on this thread so i can have a look, the reason as to why im going leather is i know a trimmer and his going to re trim all my interior as i have another complete standard interior for my car

Thanks guys

whatever you do stay away frombrown/beige/tan/cream unless you want your car to look like a mochachino

colours could work like red blue inserts with black but its kinda boring and been done to death..

personally Id be going for something a little different like thispost-65674-0-36551100-1306234860_thumb.png steel kind of colour just for the seat inserts and door trims, Then I would use this colourpost-65674-0-88081300-1306234920_thumb.png pewter for the rest of the seat surrounds cause it should match nicely with the standard dash and door plastic colours..then if you wanted to paint the dash surround you could paint it in tungsten which is the colour of the standard cam covers i think..it actually looks really nice when its clean. after that if you just clean your engine up really nice I think the whole car would match and tie together nicely..

how do you find the quality of those ebay covers, they are definately good value, i was considering them just cause one of mine standard covers has ripped.

Black with grey alacantra!

alcantra looks shit hot but it doesnt wear well and can stain, i wouldnt use it on a car I was going to use daily its too high maintenance..

Sorry buddy, but black is done time and time again for a reason. Almost everything else looks cheesy unless it's a luxury car with a luxury colour and the rest of the interior/facia has been trimmed to match. Honda S2000 for example, get away with red leather because they do all the door trims and some facias too.

If you refuse to do black...stick to bright solid primary colours with a white sports car...i.e. red, blue, yellow. Dull colours tend to work better with luxury cars.

you talk about cheesy then suggest bright colours..doesnt add up birds.

Also black doesnt match with skyline platsics, better of with a dark flat grey.

Nothing wrong with any shades of grey on white or black,

Plus, Leather says luxury, a skyline is a luxury sports car so luxury colours will work fine, too many people try to sport up skylines. I think a classy looking luxury skyline will attract alot less attention from the fuzz than a sported up one with bright flashy seats.

More euro style skylines I reckon, I'm tired of ricers..Your car is the perfect example Birds, it would look better done in a luxury style than sported up.

Anyway to each his own I guess , thats just my opinion :)

Sly333, go have a look at some new cars that are white and see what colour leather they use, the new GT fords have some nice colours schemes goin on, and some of the new euros have awesome interiors

    • @Murray_Calavera iam just considering options 🙂 of course it is very expensive so that why i ask here 🙂  @joshuaho96 I looked at that GCG hybrid(i remember looking at it few weeks before) So this is "that" hybrid where i send them my turbo and they upgrade the inside to Garrett stuff and then they send it back. It cost around 1200-1300 USD which is FAR cheaper than the HKS and it is what iam looking for(i just do not have experience like this...to send something off to "upgrade" ) @tylink720 that is like 150 USD turbo no? 😄 I dont think i have the "ease on my mind" with this kind of turbo. I just put over 7000k USD to "LINK" up my engine...dont want to blow it up with cheap turbo 😄     EDIT: https://www.cj-motor.com/gcg-turbo-charger-for-nissan-rb20det-rb25det-high?srsltid=AfmBOooVeOZ6CZ6r1AIv5m-KPaa6BvudIPJTY8LW78khkd-gQlsaCht9 I looked at this and it seems ok? It is that CGC hybrid and it costs around 1250 USD (with back shipping). Do any of you have experience with this hybrid on NEO turbo? I quickly look thru the forum/web and it seems very good.

    • It's funny, as Ive seen plenty of people use them in cheap builds on YT. And they actually go okay, even though a lot of other maxspeedingrods stuff is terrible. Those turbos seem reliable enough, the only part being, a good quality turbo that is "identical" to it, will out perform it day in and day out. In both a lower boost threshold, and the ability to flow more air at the same boost pressure. As a cheap cheap replacement, not a terrible choice. For cheap and shouldn't blow in a day, not terrible (like other eBay/Temu turbos) for low cost and still decent performance, that's where the question comes in to play from the results I've seen. I'd actually find it hilarious to buy one, and strap it to a paddock basher or some other cheap as POS originally NA car, and send it to the moon!
