Hey guys,

Will be making a purchase for a front pipe and dump pipe in the next week. The exhaust system is for my RS four S stagea, interested in the Bellmouth front/dump pipe in the following link. http://justjap.com/store/product.php?productid=17316&cat=&page=2

My question is will i need the R34gtt version for my stagea considering it has the "neo" engine or will the one in the link be fine and be a direct bolt up. If anyone else has any recommendations and have used various different brands that were directly bolted up to your 25 neo feel free to share.

i have got the sameone on my stagea perfect fit bolt strait up. Bolts are a hard fit on the back of the turbo because the bigger belmouth but still good.

as i said - there are mixed reports as to how well they fit - but that could be purely a reflection on the build quality of them from a start - every one might be slightly different?! grain of salt. most importantly - let us know what you decide on in the end and how it fits. it's good when people who start a thread asking a question, post the answer when they find it.

I got the bolt in but it was a mess around (you have to do it up first like a quater at a time, as you screw the others in), my JJR belmouth also rubbed the floor slightly so I gave that a slight "massage" other that that easy install. Now I done it a few times it's easy peasy.

I've got a jjr bellmouth dump. It fit perfectly except the bolt that can't be put in I snapped it off and never bothered to replace it so I didn't have that problem. Now I've got a hypergear turbo and I have to get it shortened because the turbo is longer and the exhaust doesn't fit anymore. Keep that in mind if you do a turbo swap in the future.

ive had a jjr r33 one and it fit, then i swapped for a r34gtt, split pipe and it also fit, but the jjr was very close to the gearbox holder and rubbed at low rpm for a quick second.

all in all, both fit, and yes, the jjr has that stupid bolt you cant get in. *shakes fist vigorously*

Thanks for all the input guys need to get rid of my crappy custom made system for something a little better and higher flowing only considering the bellmouth due to the price, and with the money i have saved i can buy a nice 3" high flow cat and a 6 pack to drink during the install

I would recomend to not get the high Flow cat from justjap it is not as highflow as u may think as i found out and buy a catco cat or metal cat a little more expencive but well worth the money I got 3 quotes before I did the dump pipe back and they all told me to put the justjap cat in the bin they are more high flow than standard but not buy much and it holds the turbo back I got a catco now big difference

    • Sane enough. Remove the roof liner, because the acid will go everywhere.
    • Thanks guys, I really appreciate the help and experienced opinions.  I have spent a lot of my life working on boats so I'm pretty good with fibreglass. I'll take everybody's advice in here;  I'll cut a little more of the 2nd layer away as it's a bit crunchy rust and also it's sitting high now. Then I'll wire brush it all a bit to get off anything loose, then I'll soak the bejesus out of it all in rust converter. I'll make sure to get a little hose piece and feed it into all the holes and gaps between the roof layers. Then I'll fibreglass up the holes.  Then I'll get a pallet of filler and mix it with 3 buckets of hardener and hope that is enough to build up the roof corner.  Does that sound sane? Is one type of filler better than others for this?
    • My goals for it atm are to get it registered, respray and some mild power gains eventually... I picked up the car from an elderly gentleman near the border of NSW and VIC, its honestly a bit rough and looks like its been driven on a farm (because there was so much dirt underneath). Last week I dropped the subframe and emptied the old fuel out + added a new fuel pump (think the old one went bad from old fuel). Now I'm onto fixing a coolant leak at the rear of the engine + adding a new radiator as the old one is corroded. After that i have a new bumper, coils (as the old were leaking) and lots more
    • Welcome buddy! Plenty on here and YouTube. What are your plans for it? Good luck with the Rwc and Rego bud!
    • Love this so much! Please post a photo when you have a bike on the trailer.  I was a little bit worried about having a tow bar on the Skyline, but having it hidden behind the number plate is genius
