They way to stop your car getting broken in to is to get an R31, the only reason they might break in is to leave you some cash in there for you to buy something better.

Sometimes I wish I drove a penis extension of a car.... Then I look down and remember why I have an R31

I hate hearing about stuff like this happening. You can't own anything nice without someone thinking they have the right to do this sort of thing. Ppl like that need a flogging, or a bullet.

or need to come off the dole and start working for a living.

Lol.... Sorry to be off topic but what exactly is SAU's issue with R31's? I know u all say they rn't real skylines but lets be honest here, they are more skyline than the R35 which isn't at all. First of the twin cam RB's came in R31's. Where would the 32, 33 and 34 be without them?

Harsh shot assuming all R31 owners are dole bludgers. Bit of ignorance also shown by the later model owners if that's their attitude also. Maybe that's just where their mentality lies?

Again sorry to be off topic but just don't get why the R31 is so hated.

LOL settle down fordy31, I believe the dole comment was in relation to the thieves. relax, don't take forum comments so personally

hahaha, if you type in: "You mad bro?" with a "U", the forum text censor changes it to: "Are you positively annoyed friend? bro?"

It's probably the same reason they go off about non turbo 4 doors as well :P

I started it on this thread so i'll finish it. I own an R31 myself and i'm not scared to take the piss out of myself over it and I just laugh at the people who are serious when they bag R31's because they're just fashion queens.

Sure they look a bit like a door wedge but they were still an important part in the evolution of the skyline shape.

LOL? did someone just get angry misunderstanding my post? is my english really that bad? i know me asian me no spik engrish, but still...

no shit mang. i have no hate for r31s, in fact, people who can actually keep their r31s in good shape have my respect.

    • Yep, the closest base tune available was for the GTT, I went with that and made all the logical changes I could find to convert it to Naturally Aspirated. It will rev fine in Neutral to redline but it will be cutting nearly 50% fuel the whole way.  If I let it tune the fuel map to start with that much less fuel it wont run right and has a hard time applying corrections.  These 50% cuts are with a fuel map already about half of what the GTT tune had.  I was having a whole lot of bogging when applying any throttle but seem to have fixed that for no load situations with very aggressive transient throttle settings. I made the corrections to my injectors with data I found for them online, FBCJC100 flowing 306cc.  I'll have to look to see if I can find the Cam section. I have the Bosch 4.9 from Haltech. My manifold pressure when watching it live is always in -5.9 psi/inHg
    • Hi My Tokico BM50 Brake master cylinder has a leak from the hole between the two outlets (M10x1) for brake pipes, I have attached a photo. Can anyone tell me what that hole is and what has failed to allow brake fluid to escape from it, I have looked on line and asked questions on UK forums but can not find the answer, if anyone can enlighten me I would be most grateful.
    • It will be a software setting. I don't believe many on here ever used AEM. And they're now a discontinued product, that's really hard to find any easy answers on. If it were Link or Haltech, someone would be able to just send you a ECU file though.
    • Yes sir am asking is there possible way from aem tuner from wiring pins
    • Have you checked cam to crank timing and confirmed balancer marks are correct?
