Round 5 - Win Network Drifting Tasmania Series

Recommended Posts

Okay boys and girls!

This is it, LAST competition round of the year, Round 5 @ Baskerville Raceway, November 5th! No doubt competition is going to be tough for the last round, should make for good viewing and get some great battles on the day!

Please note during the lunch time we will be holding a team drift exhibition consisting of 3 car teams. It would be great if those wishing to participate could begin thinking about their teams and strategies before the event so we can put on a really good show for the crowd. Time permitting, each team should get 2 - 3 runs.

Send your team info in with your entries, or to [email protected] including your team name so we can prepare something for the commentators. If you can't get organised before the event, you let us know at sign in on the morning.

Forms and additional info including series results and latest news can also be found at www.driftingtasmania.com

All required forms for entry at the link below (the uploader for the site is not letting me upload tonight >.> will try tomorrow if it will let me upload)

I'll be out in the infield taking pics as per usual, but you'll probably see my car parked somewhere in the pit area.

Last comp drift day for the year, looking forward to it! Charging everything now ready to go... lol.

Nice to meet you yesterday btw Zoidberg... Don't know if I said I was Cyph on here or not, I'm the idiot with the white r33 that managed to crack a bit off the chin spoiler on a grass embankment in the pits. bwhahahaha.

Now to sort and edit 1700+ photos... :D

both good options. What's the purple pig?

The purple pig would be a ceffy

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
