how the hell would those tyres cope with 1000hp, let alone 2500hp?

Dunno about the tyres but I would have a silly grin on my face the whole time

Actually, if it was a 10 lap race around the Nurburgring, I would put my money on the R35 any day of the week. Im not saying that this thing doesnt look brilliant (the rediculous turbo's sticking out the front make me happy in my pants), but seriously, you might as well be saying that this Supra is quicker than an F1 car simply because it has more HP.

Does it look like a circuit car?????

My point EXACTLY! Horses for courses. Which is why I was saying that your first comment about waiting for R35 owners to come and say that their car is faster for some gay reason was silly. You are the one who made the comparison, not me. That Supra is probably faster in a straight line than a hell of a lot of supercars, would it beat them around a track? No chance in hell! Is it awesome? F'ing Oath!

If you do want 200hp and A/C though

Go see Nelson Racing

This is the car that Batman would trade the Batmobile for!!! Or just sell Robin's ass on a street corner and keep both......

fap?

unfortunately, apart form the turbos ,its still butt ugly Supra at the front..

But this is possibly the sexiest rear I have seen on any car ever..and seeing as its the only view most people will ever see that is all that matters

i could really see myself commissioning a car like that camaro or supra as my daily driver, given the budget. you'd probably still want a back-up vehicle, but still. Cars like these might be pretty popular for us car guys in 20 years, as it gets harder and harder to DIY maintain new cars.

    • This. The R34 handbrake icon DOES come up when the brake fluid level is low. You might be sitting right on that threshhold. I have been down this diagnosis path and this was the solution (and it was pretty much as full as your picture is to begin with).
    • Unfortunately the cavaet to that is that while any scan tool should be able to read the code, the workshop will need a consult plug to OBD socket adapter. You don't have a location on your profile, where are you based?
    • @Haggerty this is your red flag. In MAP based ECU's the Manifold pressure X RPM calculation is how the engine knows it is actually...running/going through ANY load. You are confusing the term 'base map' with your base VE/Fuel table. When most people say 'base map' they mean the stock entire tune shipped with the ECU, hopefully aimed at a specific car/setup to use as a base for beginning to tune your specific car. Haltech has a lot of documentation (or at least they used to, I expect it to be better now). Read it voraciously.
    • I saw you mention this earlier and it raised a red flag, but I couldn't believe it was real. Yes, the vacuum signal should vary. It is the one and only load signal from the engine to the ECU, and it MUST vary. It is either not connected or is badly f**ked up in some way.
    • @Haggerty you still haven't answered my question.  Many things you are saying do not make sense for someone who can tune, yet I would not expect someone who cannot tune to be playing with the things in the ECU that you are.  This process would be a lot quicker to figure out if we can remove user error from the equation.
