whatsisname
I aim for 7000rpm but sometimes I go close to the limiter (7500rpm) Peak power is ~6400rpm and peak torque is ~4200-4400rpm. I'll be happy when I nail a sub 2.000 60ft. I'll get there eventually Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/38247-sau-14-mile-times-v2/page/12/#findComment-895138 Share on other sites
rev210
Matt, I might still pay to hold the gear if the power average is better as a result. Also the drop in rpm between gears sometime benifits from a slightly higher rpm if the overall average power can be maximised. Depends on how much the power curve falls away tho to. Bass Junky
BOO57A Nice times. What was your launch technique. I found with my stock clutch I could just dial up huge rpm, almost step off the clutch and it would just take off. With the lightweight flywheel and heavy duty clutch, it just spins the wheels and axel tramps to hell and back.....
