Just wondering if anyone has been defrauded and went down the path of using a Private Investigator to track down the fraudster as NSW & VIC Police seem uninterested.

Will probably go halvies with the other guy that got defrauded a we have previously discussed.

If so, did you get the results you wanted?

Approximate Costs associated?

hope you get it sorted out & your money back asap. i wouldn't buy anything off anyone who's just signed up in the last month with minimal posts & no trader rating (apart from what you left him which was a postive rating btw lol).

Lol yea, noticed that but cant change it ffs...

My old man is an ex det. Sgt (worked homicide and other major crime areas, worked the cross when it was actually interesting) and now he's retired has done P.I work. If you PM me I'll get in touch with him. 90% sure he has probably let his licence lapse but he would know who is decent around Sydney.

My Girlfriends Uncle is a PI in melbourne.

may be able to do something.

But I doubt old mate would put up his real suburb.

I would keep ringing the police...remember who you spoke to and keep hassling them...let them know you really want help...even go down to the station and try and speak with him/her

Bad luck man , I personally never would buy without being able to pick up for items over $300+

Specially over 2k+ man ....

Police are only there to makes things worse not help us.

Not wrong about police...

Ive tried police heaps and they hardly want a bar of it...

If your uncle can help tell me what information he requires and ill organise it, were up to 3 SAUer now that have been scammed by the same fellow.

Sav,

I have removed the incorrect feedback you left him, please re-add your feedback as soon as possible.

Cheers.

Thanks, Done.

Ill get the information you requested asap, my work is not allowing me a life atm which makes it hard...

sale was under 5grand which is why the police are uninterested.... sorry to hear about your loss though mate.

I think to get your PI qualification you just have to do a tafe course, exgirlfriend was doing it....

Goodluck though mate.

    • That looks good, but I think you're going to need much beefier side skirts now.
    • They are daft and there's a reason it never caught on. Steering feel? We don't need no stinking steering feel!
    • I gotta pull you up on this. It's driving me crazy. A shutter is something that closes, like over a window or in a cmera. The word you want is shudder. That LSD is clearly f**ked. Take it to a diff shop and get it disassembled and examined by an expert. YOu might have plates welded together or something equally crazy.
    • Define "starting to fail". Wy not just rebuild them?
    • Check the Nistune doco. There are a few assumptions being made here that might not be valid. I will list the things that occur to me: Base map. Base map for what? Base map for Z32? Then the cranking pulse width is probably wrong for an RB25. The extra 500cc of capacity might well be enough to prevent it from catching. Base map for RB25? I don't think you can load one of those into a Z32. You have to just make the settings correct for an RB25 in the Z32 base map. That is either K or the TIM to get the pulsewidth right. Loom. You bought a loom for an RB. And you plugged it into a Z32 ECU. Did you make sure that any iwre differences were swapped. From memory, there's at least a couple. And as per the others, I would suggest making sure that the fuel pressure is correct while cranking and that the injectors are actually flowing as expected. They really must come out and go on the bench, unless you do find that you have messed up as per above points. I would also suggest watching in Nistune to make sure that everything is reading correctly. That the correct binary flags are raised at the right time (like the crank signal), that there's no stupid values in K or TIM. That you have not got mismatched firmware for the ECU and/or a wrong image loaded.
