When they check the tint. Do they check all windows? or just drivers?

All of them i'd imagine.

BUT if the "main" ones are OK, a RWC person might be inclined to overlook it.

And that way at least if you do need to rip it off, it'll only be the rear window. I would very much doubt they would want the 1/4 windows cleared as well.

Coppers check all windows including front windshield for god knows what reason..They tried canaring me for the rear privacy glass on the Stagea, I told the cop if you can prove to me that there is a tinting film, I will pay for it all to get fixed, and if he finds that it's not tint then he pays for any damage caused buy trying to pull off a tint, or cost of checking. He gave up

Mine is 35% sides and privacy glass on rear 1/4 and rear.

Pretty happy with the 35%, and it seems like people can't even see me through the 35% lol.

Also, just wondering, is the factory privacy glass = to 5%?

Had numerous rwc done on my car with 20% all way around. Never got questioned about tint

Yeah but it's a new requirement along with the photo taking etc.

So as it "filters" out to the workshops it'll become more common place.

Whether they actually check it or not is another thing entirely. I know a few RWC places are a bit unhappy about the new requirements of photos etc and think it's a waste of time for the money - this obviously works in ones favour!

Nobody will ever agree to tint a sunroof. Think its too brittle or something
