I read somewhere that williams scored less than 1% of redbulls total points haul in 2011

... less than 1%

2012 is a big year for williams, another performance like that again and they'll never make it back

agreed, they need top ten finishes.

at least.

if burno had a better season with renault, he might have had a better chance of staying in f1 but i think the best he can hope for is as a number three driver.

i sill don't think he has what it takes to be champion atm, he might come good later.

maybe.

fcuk she's hot airbrished

But she is crazy hot...though should never speak :)

Williams seems to be going the way of Tyrrel :( I know they exist as a race team that owns everything so dont have some of the pressures of other teams in debt or with need for infrastructure....but they are going backwards and have not had a very good season since Heidfeld-Webber where they were at least hunting podiums and top 5 finishes. They look at looong way from there these days.

I really hope they turn it around in 2012, but even thought Maldanado wasnt terrible and Rubens can still get the job done on his day...but they need momentum and that means a top level driver, and a 203 year plan to build engineering staff and pace

the date has been set.

Kimi Raikkonen will return to Formula 1 action in a 2010-specification Renault at Valencia on January 23-24.A Lotus team source has confirmed to AUTOSPORT that Raikkonen will have two days of running in the Renault R30 to re-acclimatise to F1 machinery after not having driven a grand prix car since the 2009 season finale in Abu Dhabi.

The team has been working on scheduling a test since he was originally signed for 2012, as reported by AUTOSPORT magazine last month.

While the two-year-old Renault cannot run on Pirelli's race rubber, it should at least give Raikkonen the chance to familiarise himself with the specification of tyre used for demo running.

Raikkonen had a seat fitting at Lotus's Enstone base last week. Speaking last month, he said that he expects to have little trouble getting back up to speed.

"I don't think I've lost any speed," he told the Lotus official website. "Getting on top of the tyres will be the hardest thing, of course, but I'm not really worried.

"We don't test the new car until February, so it's a long wait. However, I should be able to jump into a two-year-old F1 car in January.

"Learning Pirelli's tyres will be the most important job as it's a different approach from what I experienced before."

Bruno Senna "will race for Williams" this season according to one of his backer, Brazil's richest businessman Eike Batista.

Last season, Brazilian company EBX announced that they would sponsor Senna when the 28-year-old stepped up to replace Nick Heidfeld at Lotus Renault GP.

And it appears that the company, which is headed by Batista, will continue to back the Brazilian.

Senna, though, is currently without a Formula One race-seat for this year's Championship, although rumours have linked him to Williams.

And although the 28-year-old insists that for now they are just rumours, Batista is adamant it's only a matter of time before the deal is announced.

"Simple, he will race for Williams," Batista tweeted.

he's not going to save williams imo.

    • I've been doing some looking around and honestly was just considering throwing a new rack at it. I saw that the dmax silvia rack bolts up into the 33 with the silvia bushings but not sure if the high pressure lines will sit in the correct spot. I believe other version of the 33 rack are the same/similar to the racks that can be opened up without as much fuss so I assume the dmax rack would fit but any ideas?
    • I've never played with one, but I would expect that you are correct. That slot looks like it is intended to be used to unscrew the end, and the flats on the body would be better than grabbing it around the round bit with a pipe wrench. So, yeah, probably unscrews. You'll probably have to make a tool to drive in that slot.
    • A bit late but A disk S13P fit over stock R32 GTR brakes, usually A disk front, O disk rear works.
    • Or, the height of the release bearing is not correct for your combo. Start with the bleeding and checking the slave moves throughout its range when you press the pedal (2 person required), but it is possible for the height to be internally wrong too (box back off to measure.
    • Yes, there's quite a few things that can go wrong during a clutch install. Very unlikely. I have a similar clutch. They (ACS) make good gear. No, it is not normal. It is possible that you just need to bleed the clutch slave. But the new clutch will also have a more aggressive actuation force/pressure, and so your old slave cylinder might be a bit leaky or otherwise compromised, and not up to the extra force required. Or the master cylinder, same.
