Awww Poor Diddums

Hmmm, so a world champ gets pissed because his car is not up to scratch? Seems fair enough to me, a bit different to a certain pommy media darling who puts on the grumpy face when he does not come first.

Lets see:

Pole positions: 0

Wins: 0

Podiums: 0

Championship position: 4th

So, yeah, on track.

given that webber has 2 more championship points than this time last year, is only 11 points behind the leader (instead of 26 last year), is ahead of bieber and is getting slightly better starts than last year (dropping half as many spots off the line as last year), i'd say he'd be well chuffed.

Hmm, not sure. Last year he couldnt win a race (until it stopped mattering) because he couldnt deal with the tyres. This year it is because the car sucks the big one. Not sure that either makes for a happy driver.

Also, just because Bieber has been rubbish so far is good as far as it goes but doesnt help as much as you would hope.

Vettel is the yardstick now, according to popular opinion, so when mark does well against him it reflects positively I guess.

yes, and the fact that the longer that webber stays in front of vettel in the points, the more likely he is to get more favourable treatment from the team as far as strategy goes. i also wouldn't say that the car "sucks the big one". they just don't have as good of a qualifying car, and the race car isn't as much of a dominant force, but they are still a fast car.

Personally Abu Dhabi sux dog balls for a GP. You will pay big money for tickets and accom. There is no social life when in town. So many other GPs in Europe or Asia where you will have amazing fun and most likely way cheaper and also whilst there is still a championship being run

Given how cheap flights are at the moment I was looking at the Texas F1, looks like its popular as most of the hotels are fully booked for the weekend in Austin

Who's been to the singapore GP ?

Very seriously considering going over for this year, anyone got any hints or tips ?

Seems to be one of the more economical GP's to head to, my main problem is I'm time poor with work and uni.

What do people think > ?

Hi all,

Has any one here been to the singapore gp b4? Ive booked but havnt chosen tickets yet. Who can point me in the right direcection? Im thinking stamford? The 3 day different stamds dont look too good. And are expensive to get a half decent 1?

I wish this was the case, but whilst that dog Helmut Marko is there V-tool will always get first preference to strategy and upgrades.

    • Agreed, and in particular the earth strap that should go from the subframe to the chassis but it often broken or left off. There is a section in the R32 workshop manual you can follow for troubleshooting if you don't see anything suspicious, and depending where you are (there is no location on your user profile) you should be able to get your hands on a second hand replacement unit still if needed
    • Yeah they mention as a R34 for 2.5 Turbo...but then again thos "small" were also for R34 by that different site. But i look into it and that 310mm EBC is for R34 GTT. And by those you linked the specs are the same 🙂    EDIT: I found these on one site here: DBA 4000 series T3 DBA42304S They are 310mm...and it says are for R34GTT...are there good? EDIT2: ok they have pads too.  What "color" should i get for street use? I dont want/need some noisy ones...(and if they are not that dusty that is good too)
    • Yeah, shame. Maybe  driver's carpet is available 🙏. I am waiting for both amayama and nangun to confirm.
    • Probably. I take it that they are also mentioned to be for R34 Skyline? For example.... RDA has that part as RDA7957. I have the dimpled and slotted version of that on my car https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/285518478694?srsltid=AfmBOopKxMuAFpsxZJdB1cam4D5RAj1f9yJyOttPZLAwXVNCOiwlhrIy This is DBA's top one piece equivalent https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/364246686631?srsltid=AfmBOorbb0XHQgqTvZLgQPhg70nqJtGvdojKnugum3O2LFSr2h-obp8D
