After a long search I finaly got my Stagea. Been to nearly every dealer in Sydney and some private ones interstate (and spent a lot on car inspections fees). Some good and a lot bad, so without further ado here she is. Crappy mobile phone pics unfortunately.

Things to do are get the radio to pick up Aust channels, reversing camera and after a month or so get the turbo built up. Shes needs a good detail and I´ll do an oil change in a few weeks.

Congrats on the new wheels.

Don't mind the M35s. I'd have one if they came in manual. But alas, they do nos, so I'll make do with the 34 :)

NEEDS MOAR LOW!! :nyaanyaa:

Looks nice, good luck with it! I actually saw one very similar driving through town today. Looked awesome in white, hadn't seen a white Axis before then.

So future mods...

- get the radio to pick up Aust channels - Guessing you have a Bose, so just get a band expander for it unless theres an issue with it. Then when it breaks down, you can replace it with a G35 fascia which will give you a standard 2 DIN hole.

- reversing camera - slippylotion posted up a guide a month or so ago using an ebay special camera. I take it you've got the screen? Just do a search, you'll find it, pretty easy and the cameras are only ~$30-40 on ebay.

- get the turbo built up - Why so soon? Can of worms is open!

Definelty needs MOAR low.

Wasn't a fan of the whites in the rs,rx models but the axis in white looks better than the other models.

I'm not sure what stereo as l'm already at work and didn't check. Hopefully just a quick fix.

For the reversing camera trying to get that done ASAP . I can't seem to get access to slippylotions post but trying to sort something out.

With the turbo ive been told they start to let go around 100k mark so I have some time to save for a new one.

Scotty has found it's oil feed (or lack thereof) that kills them. If they're poorly maintained the banjo to the turbo blocks and starves the turbo of oil.

Just drill it out to 2mm and you should be right.

And I am a fan of the RS in white... thats what I've got!

There is really no point in taking pics, you can barely see up there and without knowing where the pic was taken from it wont help much.

You can see the oil line if you take off the undertray and look up from the passenger side. Just in front of the driveshaft there is a metal 8mm line with a banjo into the block, remove this and drill out to 1.5mm, then clean any swarf and gunk from the hole before refitting. Is your turbo noisy? Some stockies sound like a jet taking off.

Really? I think the pearl white looks hot in the rs/rx...

admittedly I'm not a huge fan of the AXIS/ARX...looks fat/bloated :P

    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
