imo classic gtrs are the win any day, especially for their day, imagine driving thoes things back in the 70s!

but since the r32 gtr in all its variations the rest have been trying to live up the the origional king, several have gotten close even gotten their but the king still wins

Yeah that black R34 looks MEGA.

The rear of the R35 looks spot on, but the front doesn't make it look anything special.

If it had the lights square on infront say like the current BMWs (or like the R34) it would look much nicer

But didn't Paul Newman and Robert Redford get rich from the railways? ;)

Can someone explain this reference to me? Showing your age there Terry..lol

As for a six month stint in the mines, i wouldnt have my nice sheltered workshop in the railways to come back to if i left for that long unless it was long service leave and by the time i qualify for that im not sure there will be any iron/bauxite/gold/uranium left in the country...it will have all been shipped to China!

Agree with 34's being the most aggressive model, and hence by a bloodied nose, my favourite of the lot!

these shots might be reposts?

anyway since we're on a black 34 theme, heres a more local one!

owner is on SAU, is he in this thread?

only difference i can spot from the yank one posted earlier is the brake calipers arent painted blue and the bonnet isn't vented. That would complete the look for me i think.

(oh yeah and the OTT wing..might bring that down a few inches. ,maybe)

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
