Hey yeh that was me Flick, good to see you out and about this way. As Kye said thats the kit, want somethin new, but havent been able to match up the custom paint job for a new kit. Gotta get 2nd gear back first anyway :s

That was classic with the spoon drains tho, we're all zigzaggin along the road, lady behind me was in a humorous disbelief

spotted a nice white 33 and gave a wave, on port rush road heading towards freeway today, looked nice a nice clean car.

Where you in the cream 32 4 door at all? I was driving along next to a cream 4door for a while..

Where do i start.

Since starting at Tyrepower on Currie St. i have worked on a few skylines.

One owned by a Lee I believe, white 33 SAU sticker on the rear/front window i think.

A R34 with red stripes down the sides with GTR rims and a few others.

Today on henly Beach Road had a Silver 33 follow me a bit and come up beside me.

And a R34 sedan on South Road/ Anzac highway intersection tonight.

If your driving past Tyrepower on Currie St look out for my boonga. lol

Around 1ish? or something like that early in the morning... was following some random bunch of cars from glenelg down to near outer habour which was where cops came and everyone split lol then headed back out city...

Last night also spotted a burgundy R32 GTR with the passenger going "GTR MATE GTR!!!!!!" :laugh:

Also spotted today out gawler another white R33 with SAU sticker out the back window

yeah it was around that time. Was in my mate's prelude @ the lights when u flew past :P

spotted a very nice looking silver r34 sedan, plates "r34" just out of victor harbor parked. i must say very nice, i want to upgrade my r32 sedan to r34 sedan next.

spotted R33PER on hindley last nite

and Deluxe snobbing me off last nite at the Smokemart / On The Run near Kmart on Anzacs........u were leaving as i drove in and flashed my lights (as my horn is broken LOL)...........nice giving it curry as u left tho >_<

Yeh sorry fella, I was coming out and noticed some C#$t yelling and flashing, couldn't work out who the fek owns a red commo, until after i left i remembered you had one and realised that "some C#$t" was you........LOL

spotted an r34 with vinyls down south road thebarton area this arvo think its miss34 or kara from the forums? i was in the 33 goin the other way with the non painted bodykit lol heading down to m&c doyle

spotted HESLO on O'Connell St this arvo (or it may have been more down towards King William St near the Torrens Parade Ground) and ENR-034 on Mooringe Avenue. Both times in work truck, didnt get a chance to wave (or find where they've hidden the horn)

That would have been me on the way home from work :domokun:

Saw a Red/Maroon 33, looked like GTR (was travelling in opposite direction) heading city bound near mcintyre and north east road intersection. Saw a Black 32 GTR turning right just near the BP from the North East Road citybound slip lane. (I dont know the road he turned into, sorry for mong descriptions) and saw a nice white 33 near the library on fosters road (behind the Mobil).

Also saw a girl in a White laser hatch overtaking me at 100kph on Grand junction road near Yatala. Made me laff. She was hawt.

i work on the corner of mooringe and morphett rd in the big pot and paver place. was probably on the way to the bank

and also seen a gorgeous bayside blue r34 on fullarton rd this afternoon..............and a wingless black r34 tonight turning onto mcintyre rd

    • I guess one thing that might be wrong is the manifold pressure.  It is a constant -5.9 and never moves even under 100% throttle and load.  I would expect it to atleast go to 0 correct?  It's doing this with the OEM MAP as well as the ECU vacuum sensor. When trying to tune the base map under load the crosshairs only climb vertically with RPM, but always in the -5.9 column.
    • AHHHH gotchaa, I'll do that once I am home again. I tried doing the harness with the multimeter but it seems the car needed a jump, there was no power when it was in the "ON" position. Not sure if I should use car battery jump starter or if its because the stuff that has been disconnect the car just does send power.
    • As far as I can tell I have everything properly set in the Haltech software for engine size, injector data, all sensors seem to be reporting proper numbers.  If I change any injector details it doesnt run right.    Changing the base map is having the biggest change in response, im not sure how people are saying it doesnt really matter.  I'm guessing under normal conditions the ECU is able to self adjust and keep everything smooth.   Right now my best performance is happening by lowering the base map just enough to where the ECU us doing short term cut of about 45% to reach the target Lambda of 14.7.  That way when I start putting load on it still has high enough fuel map to not be so lean.  After 2500 rpm I raised the base map to what would be really rich at no load, but still helps with the lean spots on load.  I figure I don't have much reason to be above 2500rpm with no load.  When watching other videos it seems their target is reached much faster than mine.  Mine takes forever to adjust and reach the target. My next few days will be spent making sure timing is good, it was running fine before doing the ECU and DBW swap, but want to verify.  I'll also probably swap in the new injectors I bought as well as a walbro 255 pump.  
    • It would be different if the sealant hadn't started to peel up with gaps in the glue about ~6cm and bigger in some areas. I would much prefer not having to do the work take them off the car . However, the filler the owner put in the roof rack mount cavities has shrunk and begun to crack on the rail delete panels. I cant trust that to hold off moisture ingress especially where I live. Not only that but I have faded paint on as well as on either side of these panels, so they would need to come off to give the roofline a proper respray. My goal is to get in there and put a healthy amount of epoxy instead of panel filler/bog and potentially skin with carbon fiber. I have 2 spare rolls from an old motorcycle fairing project from a few years back and I think it'd be a nice touch on a black stag.  I've seen some threads where people replace their roof rack delete with a welded in sheet metal part. But has anyone re-worked the roof rails themselves? It seems like there is a lot of volume there to add in some threads and maybe a keyway for a quick(er) release roof rack system. Not afraid to mill something out if I have to. It would be cool to have a cross bar only setup. That way I can keep the sleek roofline that would accept a couple bolts to gain back that extra utility  3D print some snazzy covers to hide the threaded section to be thorough and keep things covered when not using the rack. 
    • Probably not. A workshop grade scantool is my go to for proper Consult interrogation. Any workshop grade tool should do it. Just go to a workshop.
