Sounds okay, but at 225kms from home, I think I'll have to pass :(

About the same distance for me to Willowbank. Went once & they cancelled at last minute due to some clouds :verymad:.

All i have done is a new 3 inch, hi flow cat and some mandrel bends. (This had to be done as original looked like a piece of swiss cheese)

I dont know what Mr Miagyi did to it in Japan as now the fun begins to find out. I have only had it 3 months so looking to see what i can do to it?

Grabs tin opener & heads to the pantry to find that can of worms stashed in the back.

BTW, 14.1 is a great time for 'just an exhaust'. There's a good chance you'll find some other goodies when you start digging.

Was annoyed to miss out last week meeting up with those who went to WSID. So i ventured out this evening for my first ever run and the first in the " Black Hearse".

Run # 1. 14.8

Run # 2. 14.5

Pretty Happy!! hey great time, welcome to the 14.1 class, what was your 60" time

Hi Rudi,

60" time was 2.051.

At least it was pleasing to loose to a Skyline.

:action-smiley-069: waves goodbye to the Skyline as it runs a 11.8 @119mph. Great effort!!

Wow great 60' get that lower and your in the 13 sec. Was the skyline maroon colour?

Silver in colour. Pulse Racing sticker on rear window.

A few things i will do next time to maybe achieve that 13.

1. Not be so nervous as it was my first time at the drags.

2. Dont go out with a full tank of fuel (price rose 24 cents a litre that afternoon on way home) :stupid:

3. Go when it not the hottest day since winter. 5pm - 25c. 8.30pm - 19c.

4. Adjust tyre pressure?

5. Practice luanches. ( maybe when kids aren't in car) :whistling:

6. Get car tuned.

Thats why i was happy with a 14.127 @ 98.38 mph.

i dont think tyre pressure is an issue, the tracks to damn sticky anyways to get a good skid/launch :(

Terrible night over all, Rain stopped things for a while, shit box VL dropping oil twice and some other piece of crap dying at 3/4 track.

Best I could manage was 12.6 with a 1.9 60 foot and 185 kmh trap speed. Really struggling to get it off the line with the new clutch.

    • Pads for R32 GTS-t, R32 GT-R non V-Spec (Sumitomo), R33 GTS-t and R34 GT-t are all interchangeable. R34 GT uses a 2x piston caliper, hence it didn't fit.
    • Checked with amayama and nope, the full S2 manual set is not available anymore. Unsurprising, but still disappointing as the ? on availability gave a glimmer of hope.
    • I've heard the Tomei USA head gaskets are decent if you want to o-ring the heads but otherwise not recommended.
    • The 296mm rotors are the R33 turbo brakes. The 310mm rotors are the R34 turbo brakes. The calipers are nearly the same, but not. They're the same caliper but the R34 caliper has longer legs so that it sits out far enough to go over the rotor. The pads are the same for both. When you say, "I bough tsome EBC"....did you just mean pads? Or rotors? 310mm rotors fit under 17" wheels. There may be some wheels without enough clearance though. I can't fit my fingers between the barrel of my wheel and the "corners" of my R34 calipers, but there is plenty of room behind the spokes. This is on Enkei RPF1. You can fit 324mm rotors inside a 17" wheel, but I'd be willing to bet that it would be close to impossible with the Nissan/Sumitomo caliper (using an adapter, of course), because the Sumitomo caliper is fatter than the Brembo caliper that is supposed to go on the 324mm rotors.
    • Hi. Can someone tell me what brakes(and mainly WHERE) can i buy brakes on R34 GTT? I bought some EBC which SHOULD go on my car(i have GT but it has GTT brakes) but it does not fit, Brakes are "too" small(296mm) Are 310mm be good or? I have 17 inch wheel so no "big boys" but for me driving i just need one that fits and i can get here in EU/Czech.
