Recently I've been inundated with people thinking work they have been paying BSA/ Blake / whatever else for has been completed my myself or pro fabrication.

I want to make this very very clear. Not one job blake has been paid for involves me or my business in any way. Cooler kits, catch cans, exhaust systems etc etc. If you haven't dealt with me directly then pro fabrication has has nothing to do with your job.

Blake came To my workshop to repair a damage trailer in which he was paid upfront for.

While waiting for materials to arrive I allowed Blake to complete some jobs he had individually been paid for. Obviously none of these jobs had been completed.

It appears he kept taking work and never completing the jobs.

One job is a return flow cooler kit that is sitting at my workshop unfinished and in a state that I wouldn't even consider fitting to a car.

Another is a whole r33 which has had a half arse attempt at an engine conversion done. And a cylinder head sold off without the owners permission.

Another is a catch can that's never even been fabricated as he can't afford to buy the alloy from me to do the job!

It needs to be made clear that people who have had dealings with Blake/BSA have not had dealings with me and I've never received any money for the jobs which I'm being chased for that have apparently been paid to Blake!

If you have email correspondence with me at pro fabrication then you can rest assured we are a legitimate business and what you have ordered is what you will receive. You should also have a legitimate invoice with my own bank details for payment.

If you have had dealings with BSA and were under the impression the work would be completed by my business I'm afraid you have been lied to and should contact the local police.

Wow that's not cool. No idea why you'd let someone complete their own jobs at your workshop though, that's just asking for all kinds of trouble :/

Does not surprise me with the way this guy talked in the HG thread from memory.

as long as you're getting your money, everyone else who got shafted can go f-themselves.

seems like it, very much so

That's probably a bit harsh; Risking is a guy running a business; BSA is a scammer who used a business to make himself look legit.

The Nigerian Royal family doesn't pick up the tab when people pour their life savings into scammers pockets.

It's a hard way to learn a lesson; but unfortunately you have to learn it.

Your acting like I'm the one who ripped you off still!

I've explained on an open forum what has been said between myself and you! I've tried calling you to organize sending you the half added intercooler you own which you declined.

I have gotten off my arse and been pro active in chasing Blake and being forcefull about receiving my money back.

Why don't you be the same and track down his address/contact number/phone police/hitman/whatever else you like.

I'm sorry you have been hardly done by but Holding me responsible because I'm here and Blake isn't just does not sound very fair....

Martin he wanted me to put a return flow intercooler kit together for him and charge him $200 as he already paid $500 to someone else and was ripped off

I approached him to offer some closure to his problem, explaining what I knew about the cooler and its current state,

he replied saying my work looked "pro" and offered to pay me $200 to do the job, I declined and stated my reasons, one being I spend more than that buying the materials required!

His obviously under the impression im in some way responcible and hasnt done anything about BSA himself

Now here is the EXACT photos I sent to Novus. I offered to post him this exact intercooler which is all that exists of his intercooler kit.

There is no pipes and there never was any.

I clearly remember one conversation I had with Blake when I suggested he just returned the guys money (this was months ago when I seen the intercooler for the first time and threw up!) he replied and said he had already done that.

Truth be told blake never even had a vehicle to build the kit on! how he planned to fabricate such an intricate piping system without a car is unknown to me I left the choice up to him if he wanted to spend the money having it posted to him.

He declined and told me to do whatever I wanted with it. Its still sitting next to my rubbish dumpster......

Make judgements as you will but I can sleep easy knowing that I have done nothing wrong here and only tried to offer someone some closure to being ripped off so atleast they knew what had become of their "kit"

Im not going to do a return flow cooler for $200. I dont even do cooler kits as its a pain when they dont fit and the chinese make enough kits to flood the market!

Ive been following this thread,

Brad, dont worry man,

Everyone can see whats going on.

So one guy cant handle the realities of life and blames you as well.

Seems you have learned one good lesson though; dont lend tools to tools. Ha!

Yeah its probly time to close the thread.

Man up and take responsibility for you own problems. No one likes a whining bitch.

I got ripped off $3000 early in the year, all gone. Guess what, it's my problem, no one elses.

Bad stuff happens, just gotta deal with it and move on. Placing the blame on other people is

what society finds acceptable these days, but really it just shows that in todays world

not many people have any dignity or self pride.

Risking I wouldn't even bother explaining or arguing with these people, you've said what you had to say

and anyone with a slight hint of a brain cell understands.

What really shits me is,when you get ripped off by these scum and call the cops. The cops 'cant' do anything about it.But when you find the scum and show him your anger, the cops are there in minutes. To arrest you,not the scum.

    • Hi,  Just joined the forum so I could share my "fix" of this problem. Might be of use to someone. Had the same hunting at idle issue on my V36 with VQ35HR engine after swapping the engine because the original one got overheated.  While changing the engine I made the mistake of cleaning the throttle bodies and tried all the tricks i could find to do a throttle relearn with no luck. Gave in and took it to a shop and they couldn't sort it. Then took it to my local Nissan dealership and they couldn't get it to idle properly. They said I'd need to replace the throttle bodies and the ecu probably costing more than the car is worth. So I had the idea of replacing the carbon I cleaned out with a thin layer of super glue and it's back to normal idle now. Bit rough but saved the car from the wreckers 🤣
    • After my last update, I went ahead with cleaning and restoring the entire fuel system. This included removing the tank and cleaning it with the Beyond Balistics solution, power washing it multiple times, drying it thoroughly, rinsing with IPA, drying again with heat gun and compressed air. Also, cleaning out the lines, fuel rail, and replacing the fuel pump with an OEM-style one. During the cleaning process, I replaced several hoses - including the breather hose on the fuel tank, which turned out to be the cause of the earlier fuel leak. This is what the old fuel filter looked like: Fuel tank before cleaning: Dirty Fuel Tank.mp4   Fuel tank after cleaning (some staining remains): Clean Fuel Tank.mp4 Both the OEM 270cc and new DeatschWerks 550cc injectors were cleaned professionally by a shop. Before reassembling everything, I tested the fuel flow by running the pump output into a container at the fuel filter location - flow looked good. I then fitted the new fuel filter and reassembled the rest of the system. Fuel Flow Test.mp4 Test 1 - 550cc injectors Ran the new fuel pump with its supplied diagonal strainer (different from OEM’s flat strainer) and my 550cc injectors using the same resized-injector map I had successfully used before. At first, it idled roughly and stalled when I applied throttle. Checked the spark plugs and found that they were fouled with carbon (likely from the earlier overly rich running when the injectors were clogged). After cleaning the plugs, the car started fine. However, it would only idle for 30–60 seconds before stalling, and while driving it would feel like a “fuel cut” after a few seconds - though it wouldn’t fully stall. Test 2 – Strainer swap Suspecting the diagonal strainer might not be reaching the tank bottom, I swapped it for the original flat strainer and filled the tank with ~45L of fuel. The issue persisted exactly the same. Test 3 – OEM injectors To eliminate tuning variables, I reinstalled the OEM 270cc injectors and reverted to the original map. Cleaned the spark plugs again just in-case. The stalling and “fuel cut” still remained.   At this stage, I suspect an intermittent power or connection fault at the fuel pump hanger, caused during the cleaning process. This has led me to look into getting Frenchy’s fuel hanger and replacing the unit entirely. TL;DR: Cleaned and restored the fuel system (tank, lines, rail, pump). Tested 550cc injectors with the same resized-injector map as before, but the car stalls at idle and experiences what feels like “fuel cut” after a few seconds of driving. Swapped back to OEM injectors with original map to rule out tuning, but the issue persists. Now suspecting an intermittent power or connection fault at the fuel pump hanger, possibly cause by the cleaning process.
    • For race cars, this is one part where I find having the roll cage bar having gone through a hole in the floor better than the build it up on a ledge inside... The Merc I help on, the main hoop ends are marked on the car, and the jack is marked... Jack goes under a few inches and lifts one whole side of the car up... Removes that fight for long slim jacks for race car duties!   My biggest issue for the daily drivers I work on, is my jacks don't go high enough. The jacks start out on a few blocks, jack it up, then start a second jack under it on more blocks, and then I can get an axle stand under it. My axle stands are presently in use, and are nearly fully extended. The car is sitting with barely more than a cm of clearance to get the wheel off the studs! Sarah's Kluger is the same, as it has an ungodly amount of droop available in the suspension and a distinct lack of good jacking points!
    • Happy? Yep, my to do list is getting shorter and shorter. Either this light approaching is the end of the tunnel, or I'm about to be hit by a train... Ha ha ha   Also, Duncan isn't that far out of town that you need to make a multi day drive out of it. 😛
