Crazy Xav
Check the flange with a straight edge and pressure test before fitting. Buy or make an adapter and use your stock throttle body and TPS (sell the 80mm one to get a few $$ back). This! good idea. thanks mate Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/404884-slide-industries-front-facing-inlet-manifold-rb25/page/2/#findComment-6448484 Share on other sites
Hanaldo
I know it's not the same style plenum, but should still be similar enough/relevant. This is my setup with my Plazmaman plenum, I went back through the original hole: Was actually very easy to do, just bought two 90 degree silicon elbows and then cut my existing cooler piping where I needed to make it fit. Used a small offcut from that piping to complete the bend: Should be able to do something similar with the Greddy plenum. Crazy Xav
you are lucky, mine is cut further down from the battery plate, but i will definitely give it a go, get some joiners and see what i can come up with. That plenum looks great btw cheers Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/404884-slide-industries-front-facing-inlet-manifold-rb25/page/2/#findComment-6449321 Share on other sites
Hanaldo
Haha thanks mate. Should still work with the hole further down, I forgot to mention I had to trim one of my silicon joiners. If it's further down you should be able to get away with it using longer joiners and perhaps cutting a longer piece of pipe off your cooler piping if that's what you are using. Just don't forget to have a bead welded onto the pipe so the clamps have something to hold onto.
