only a bees dick of room for the turbo didnt think it would fit for a mo!

Exactly why I figure supercharged is the better option, despite the fact that the oil filter needs relocating and the power steering needs a little rerouting too.

my mate put the vortech kit on his 350z and got an extra 60kw at the wheels.

mine is on the dyno right now so i will be interested to see what gains i get.

pick it up in the morning so will post results tomorrow night

That's 81 hp at the wheels which is ok however the kit has a crap pulley as standard.you can get a different one to up the boost which is his next move.that means more money and retuning but if you change the pulley you can kiss any warranty you get goodbye

hp at wheels untuned tried a few different ecus with limited success haltech want me to ship car to nsw because they've never done an auto before but thats not gonna happen wired a new ecu up last night and its doing everything it should but not counting my chickens. if no go then off to to-mo for the uprev osiris but thats not cheap

You can do Uprev for 1/2 the price of a Haltech.

Auto can be done with a Haltech - but its not easy, and I suspect that no-one in the west has done one before. It was described as "hell to wire in" to me, thus I went uprev.

Please tell me your not running the car up to full power with no tuning? If you continue, you will break the motor.

no mate just one careful run to get an idea as soon as it was lean we shut it down. The new ecu works well on auto xr6ts so should be good. All hooked up with no issues, dyno shortly. The 123456 firing order was a surprise though.

    • Nice car! I’m glad folks in the US have gotten past the FnF and are buying real cool cars like the 260RS I was with a bunch of mates in Portland about a year ago and spotted a green Stagea (just a regular 2.5T AWD) parked about 2 blocks away and they were like “a what?” So I made a bet with them for a round of beers and said “ok one of you run down there and tell me if the steering wheel is on the correct side” 5 mins later the American comes trudging back up the hill and goes “he’s right guys. Ok what beer do you want?”
    • Should replace OR drop the tank, give it's good clean. Might be worth replacing that entire fuel level/pump/cradle thing with this: https://frenchysperformancegarage.com/products/fpg-s13-180sx-r32gtst-single-pump-hanger-kit-billet-hat-6-v3-fpg-089?gQT=2
    • Thank you so much for the help
    • Yes it is ATF. I quote @Duncan "it takes a good synthentic auto trans fluid like Castrol Transmax Z" It's not a diff. It's a transfer case. Totally different thing. Yes, fluid will come out the sender hole. No you do not really need to drain it. Just pull the old, quickly poke the new, clean up and top up. But realistically, you should probably take the opportunity to change it anyway.
    • Hey all. I’m looking on replacing my speed sensor on my R33 GTR. Will the center differential need to be drained, and if so, the center diff uses ATF fluid D? I found information on the transmission, front diff and rear diff. Can’t find a for sure answer for the center diff. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
