Does anyone know where nismo-style R34 gtr rear diffuser fins can be bought online? I've seen the genuine nismo and hasemi ones floating aorund but theyre worth bucketloads :I I also saw a few months ago one of the guys on gtroc UK selling the copies in CF for 300 pounds, but he no longer does. Any pointers are much appreciated!

These guys only supply genuine NISMO fins, I was after the look alike nismo-style ones. Theyre bloody hard to find :/

Or give Import Revolution a call.

A friend of mine works there or speak to the owner Nuwan.

I was told they can get in genuine parts a very good prices.

Awesome thanks mate. I'll give them a buzz tomorrow. And Simon, the nismo GT diffuser fins are larger and look tougher than the factory OEM ones

All good!

Let me know how you go, as I am wanting to get some genuine parts off from them.

Another option is try Team Jetspeed or better yet Top Stage.

I think Top Stage is what you might be after.

No luck. Got PMd by another member who told me he was in the process of making some but that theyd be much more than the 300 i was expecting them to be around. Contacted the guys in the UK, they said they can get me the hasemi ones but for about 750 AUD :O

im on the hunt for a diffuser as mine didnt come with one but will defintly put bigger fins. you got good taste bro they look amazing

Someone trace one and send it to me

I'll make some out of carbon for ya cheap as chips

Diffuser for gtt in carbon as well but depends on muffler setup for cutouts

Gtr diffuser as well if I can get a gtr test fit up car ?

Would be a fraction of the cost could be Kevlar and carbon so it won't break so easy and won't scuff

Flap around lol I can display the strength of two layers of carbon and a ball peen hammer attack

It doesn't mark it or crack or at all , it doesn't flex even with my fat ass standing on it

With Kevlar it's even stronger and abrasive crack resistant ( the Kevlar is black weave)

Also have blue and black carbon Kevlar weave

Trace one out and take some close ups of it

Prob cost about 150-200 for 4 depending on the size and finish , gloss or dry , can embed a washer around bolt holes so it can't pull out as well

The more I do the cheaper it gets of course

And no it's not a biz just a hobby

get crackin carbon34 i want one haha jks

start a group buy or something?

but these large fins got to be hektic lmao

Somebody trace one and measure one

I have the carbon and Kevlar already

if you want a test one made shoot me the info and who can test fit one ?

    • The oil pressure sensor for logging, does it happen to be the one that was slowly breaking out of the oil block? If it is,I would be ignoring your logs. You had a leak at the sensor which would mean it can't read accurately. It's a small hole at the sensor, and you had a small hole just before it, meaning you could have lost significant pressure reading.   As for brakes, if it's just fluid getting old, you won't necessarily end up with air sitting in the line. Bleed a shit tonne of fluid through so you effectively replace it and go again. Oh and, pay close attention to the pressure gauge while on track!
    • I don't know it is due to that. It could just be due to load on track being more than a dyno. But it would be nice to rule it out. We're talking a fraction of a second of pulling ~1 degree of timing. So it's not a lot, but I'd rather it be 0... Thicker oil isn't really a "bandaid" if it's oil that is going to run at 125C, is it? It will be thicker at 100 and thus at 125, where the 40 weight may not be as thick as one may like for that use. I already have a big pump that has been ported. They (They in this instance being the guy that built my heads) port them so they flow more at lower RPM but have a bypass spring that I believe is ~70psi. I have seen 70psi of oil pressure up top in the past, before I knew I had this leak. I have a 25 row oil cooler that takes up all the space in the driver side guard. It is interesting that GM themselves recommend 0-30 oil for their Vette applications. Unless you take it to the track where the official word is to put 20-50w oil in there, then take that back out after your track day is done and return to 0-30.
    • Nice, looks great. Nice work getting the factory parts also. Never know when you'll need them.
    • Thanks @jtha7 I will have a look around tomorrow but it is a prick of a spot. These are some photos i tried taking
    • I take it that the knock retard is from bearings tapping a little tune? Thicker oil is a fragile bandaid. You need a much bigger oil cooler and probably the bigger pump being discussed.
