There is no such thing as a MPIII Vspec 2... If you ever find one it'll be a respray.

There was a MPIII Vspec for sale on here only a month ago, only lasted a week before being SOLD.

You should import a MPIII 34

+1 midnight purple ftw

Pretty rough, Im going to just keep looking for the right car. It had 175kms on nismo dash :O

Just out of curiousity, is that the mnpii for 89k?...

I'll dig out the standard dash, plug it in and double check the km's but will be luck to be 80, Then less than 8000 on the nismo dash. Realize even 90,000 is a lot, but its tidy enough, had all the aging bushes etc replaced, and it's the right price, especially if you don't want some of the fruit.

My Mechanic will show you the car by appointment. Contact Justin at JWAutomotive on 0438003151 or 0734882345. His workshop is at unit 6, 9-11 Trade street Ormiston 4160. costs you nothing to have a look.

^ Saw that as well its another one that I'm considering atm, I'm actually not in a hurry atm I have an E500 that I am driving daily in the meantime so really want the right car and don't mind if it takes months.

Hey mate, I have a brand newly built R34 GTR Vspec for sale.. It's been fully built by knight engines in Adelaide and I have only just done 1000km with martini run in oil... I've got a for sale thread on here, search for my content and you'll find it :)

Very regretful sale but I also need to free up some cash for a business venture..

Cheers

Good friend of mine who owns an MP3 did a lot of research and found there was about 180 of them made in 2000. The colour is next to impossible to match and is clearly distinguishable when you see one that's had a repray. The chromium base colour is not even purple to start off with. You need to add a whole heap of coloured tints and then spray it on a black base coat.

Love the purple. That's the fav colour of all gtr's but I guess I'm a bit baised.

I did plenty of research also, you too could spend countless hours on FAST checking.

As stated earlier, the MPIII was only produced for 3 months at the beginning of 2000

There is a total of 187 in FAST between build numbers 5893 - 6855

I'm the proud owner of 6604 and it was produced in March 2000

Mine is a genuine 2 Japan owner car with log book history, it took over a year of searching in Japland and in this time there were only 3 others, 2 of these had rust issues and the other one sold for almost 4 million yen, out of my budget.

I've never done a proper photo shoot but here's a pic I took in my front yard after I washed it..

Amazing photo!

It's fantastic that a mainstream manufacturer like Nissan actually did a series run in such a complex paint scheme. Have seen Eugene's car in the flesh and it is incredible. The MP 3 is possibly a little bit extrovert for my liking (I prefer MP 2 a bit more), but there really is nothing like MP 3 around, custom paint jobs and TVRs aside :)

Two comments, Noy:

1. Damn I love the look of your car.

2. I like that you've used slightly higher profile rubber on the rims to fill out the guards. Too many guys use ultra-low profile tyres but they don't look as tough IMO. It also degrades the ride.

Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
