G'day everyone!

As the title says, We're moving to melbourne soon! Bring on the beach and the big city :D

But i really need to sell the car to sort out financial woes.

I've dropped the price down to 14k because i really need it gone :(

Anyone interested?

Cheers.

Nar, I'm really looking forward to the change. All my life in canberra and the last 10 years at Ecowise, time for a change :)

I wish i could keep the Skyline but i just can't seem to find a way to do it.

Shell the macgregor house will be rented out, complete with party room. I'm leaving the pool table and everything down there all set up for the lucky tenants.

I'll have to grab the jumper pack some time.

Cheers Richard :)

@TM7GTR calm down, it was an honest mistake on my part, for some reason I thought he was moving to QLD not melb, and hence, for some reason, I thought he would pass by sydney and therefore i asked. I only realised this made no sense a while after though.

Well I've sold the Skyline.

Landed a great job in Melbourne.

Start my long service leave on the 19th Nov, and have my last day with Ecowise on the 16th.

Now we just need to find a house to rent in Melbourne!

Then move!!! :D

There are so many cheap rentals in Melbs... I was shocked when someone else was looking and people threw up ideas. Compared to what there seems to be on offer in Sydney!

Good luck for your search! Has Nic found a job or is she going to look once you get there? Or did she have a job before you, hence the move lol

Nic's studying masters there next year, sounds like a great UNI.

I scored a great job with SP Ausnet (The ActewAGL of canberra) installing and maintaining electrical meters on the west side.

We found a great place (but the landlord didn't want dogs) It was 5 mins walk to shops, train station and 7 min walk to the beach! awesome place for 330pw!

we just gotta keep applying until someone will let us move in with the dogs.

Anyone want to rent out my place for 500pw? It comes complete with pub!!!

    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
