Hey guys,

Just got a call off my dad to tell me his mate Phil just unclipped the seatbelts of 2 people who had flipped a skyline outside of Canberra. The car was still upside down and people still strapped inside.

Looks like they are okay.

I will try find out more details tomorrow because I am at work atm

Glad to hear to occupants were OK, but I hope they weren't doing anything silly to get to that state.....skylines aren't generally top heavy.....

Whether it was being silly or not, people will still stereotype due to the type of car unfortunately..... Glad they are alright and thumbs up to Phil

Was just on Pickles and noticed this 33 thats rolled over in the ACT. I'm quite sure it's this one relating to this thread. Original Link: http://www.pickles.com.au/damaged/item/-/details/07-09--Nissan--Skyline/1402110202

And it looks like this guy was also on these forums after a quick search on google of the plates: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/240555-sau-nsw-official-dyno-day/page__view__findpost__p__4262847

    • Definitely a hearty eater when we go out, I consider these meals my cheat day as I've been watching my calories in and calories out pretty hard since my little fun size stroke, I've gone from a fat boy of 89 Kg, I'm only 165cm tall/short, down to a almost semi lean 73 Kg over the last few years, I'm currently around 17% body fat which my doctor is very happy with, but, my goal is to slowly get down to and maintain 15%,so yeah, I want all of the protein, carbs, fats and sugars when I go out for a binge
    • There was a great one on Victoria Rd in Gladesville too back in the day. I can only assume GTSBoy is thinking of the mill up on the wollondilly, no restaurant there any more but they have restored the original steam engine on site and run it every few months, have an annual steampunk festival etc @The Bogan, you came to the wrong town for restaurants. we have a few reasonable asian and indian options but the Paragon is as good as it gets otherwise. That brewery is apparently just opened, been meaning to give it a go some time. The Highlands have plenty of fancy options but I suspect you are more a hearty eater than fancy eater
    • Thanks for coming back to post the update, maybe it will help out the next person!
    • Going by the intake & injectors I'd be guessing it's a DE, check the head casting number, should be 5L8 on a DET, 5L7 I think is the DE number.
