Glad to hear was such a good day for everyone. Now that you've had a taste, time to get out at some of our events for a proper full day of runs and fun.

How many skidpan runs/courses did you get on this day? Our Texi's we get six courses and three runs on each for about the same price (for members)!

The idea was everyone got 4 runs through the motorkhana, though some probably got more. Any chance SAU could do a motorkhana on the wet pan? I feel like dry pan/texi would be much more punishing to the car (plus I'd lose cheater car advantage).

My best time was 43 on the skid pad, couldn't seem to get any traction and kept doing donuts. I tried very hard to get a good time, promise hahaha.. even the official said I got the worse time haha

yah been to plenty of TEXI days in my 33 so the highlight definately south circuit pushing the Re001 potenzas to their limit was awesome.

Will hopefully have my 32 ready for wakefield this year ;)

hi all,

i was also in the green group. i was in the black wrx sedan.

had a ball, really surprised at the level of grip in the wrx. except also came unstuck through the left hander coming onto the front/side straight. its a bit tailly off throttle, carried too much speed in and she stepped out. havent got the awd drift thing sorted yet.

managed quite a few good times on the skid pan. first without hand brake was a 35.03, followed by a 30.55 with handbrake. 3rd run was a 29.03 and finished with a 28.63. absolutely spanked the car, had a ball.

+1 for wet skid pan event.

    • @GTSBoy This method was able to get readings of -10 to -2, so it looks like its monitoring.  Now I need to figure out why the vacuum on the line provided isn't alternating with manifold pressure.  I went with 2 lines that an RB25 tuner recommended but I'll get a longer hose and try directly off the back of the manifold.  He may have been used to OEM intake setups while I have a DBW setup that removed the MAF and IACV.
    • I work at a car detailing and tinting shop called Quark which gets all manner of German cars in usually (mainly due to a contract with Mercedes Benz Kita Osaka, BMW Nishinomiya and others) but every once in a while something special comes in, like a fully restored 1972 HS30 Nissan Fairlady 240ZG... The shop owner had immediately started applying film to the windows as soon as it was in the shop so the interior was completely covered in towels and plastic sheets. But I could get a few photos of the engine bay which was restored like new. Such an amazing car to see in pristine condition in Japan these days.
    • Was going to say the car pulls up nicely everywhere, especially going into that last long right hander before the main straight. Looks like a lot of fun.
    • Hey Dave, welcome aboard! Good to see another soon-to-be Stagea owner here. The wagons are awesome — plenty of space, still got that Skyline DNA, and loads of potential if you’re into mods. Definitely post up pics when you get it, everyone here loves seeing new builds. What model/year are you looking at?
