Rob, its easy to check the belt and if its out a tooth out.

You wind it over untill the marks line up on the crank and both cams.

It will be obvious if its a tooth out of alignment on one cam.

When i did mine, i took off the radiator and intercooler, so i had access from the front, it was soo easy that way.

Lots of nice pics from Bryce to guide you through.

Ps Rob if you need any tools, ive got em to lend to you.

Dyno Tune in Belco ( A bit of a drive for you) seem to be alright from what I have been told. I just started to use them and they're pretty good. Have had a few mates used them and say they're good.

Got discs machined today.

they were a bit warped

Machined on the hub, so they wont have any run out at all.

Marked now so they must go back on the same, if they ever come off again.

Thanks Mik, I'll see how I go. Most likely I'll pay for it to be sure...

Would be good to be able to do myself (and oneday I will) but I need my Daily, daily.

Rob esp are good with safc's so is auto tech hume albeit more expensive

Yeah but convenience of Mitchell is the most convenient as I work there, plus I trust them. ;)

Discs done at home.

$77.

Rotor Pro.

The guy told me about how if your hubs are out of line, your discs will be out of line(logical); so brand new discs wont fix it.

Machining on the hub, and leaving it bolted on exactly the same way makes it properly straight.

So mark your discs to the hub before taking them off, left, right and the stud.

Also skyline brakes are nice, ive never taken them off before. You can cheat and leave the lines on.

Last night I installed my Bonnet Dampers form the Group Buy.

So much Awesome. :D

After my Mum being in my car again today, she was enjoying the Pod / Metal intake induction noises and asked me to give it a bit when I was leaving so she could hear my car "have a hissy fit."

Fogies say the cutest things.

Installed mine tonight. Such an awesome little mod! :D

Paid weekly is horrid... Are you crazy! :P

I now get paid fortnightly and I definitely find it harder this way seeing as I was paid weekly for 3 years or so :(

When it's weekly pay you spend it ALL in that week. When fortnightly, I find it a lot easier to save. I only spend x and the rest goes into savings. But weekly... no savings :(

try getting pay monthly. Then come back to me. The time at where you get pay Weekly, Monthly Fortnight etc is irrelevant to how well you can save. You earn the same amount of moneys.... IMHO Fortnight is the best, then weekly. I'm on monthly pays ATM and it sucks the wang.

Haha, when I get paid weekly I was like nope don't have enough money. Now when I get paid fortnightly and it's a larger sum I'm like mad in loaded and I spend it :(

Think in smart about my spending though. Don't have any debt and I'd rather it be that way even if I have to wait longer to get things.

Anyway getting off topic... What did I do to my car today you say..? Nothing apart from notice that's it's covered in pollen.. Damn you spring!

    • Yes, I know🙄 but the sequential is not in my budget... don't want to reduce power neither, so looks like I'm stuck in the rabbit hole🤣
    • You’ll be very upset when you bust that too not to mention the gearing totally sucks. Don’t do it.

    • So.... the K&N air box thingo was too big, ended up gifting it to a mate, well, by gifting it he actually supplied food and beer at the pub,  which was nice, as it will not sit on a shelf in the garage for the next 10 years I did trim up some of the existing stuff to neaten it all up and gave it some wrinkle paint, unfortunately it currently has a used and abused mish mash of different types of hose clamps, 4 big fat T bolt type (shit), and a few normal clamps of vairing sizes and brands, but..... only until the 6 constant tension black worm clamps that I ordered from EFI solutions turn up next week Currently the current hose clamps are triggering me hard, LOL Is this the final version, probably not, I really want just 2 silicone pieces, a straight bit of silicone from the filter to the MAF is easy and will happen as soon as I head into Just Jap tomorrow, the problematic part is a 30° silicone bend from the MAF to the TB that I can connect the engine breather from the head, I found that there are bulk head fittings for boat bilge pumps that should work, but until I can get a 30° silicone bend the alloy pipe, and the 11ty thousand hose clamps, are there for the foreseeable future 4 hose clamps are golden, 6 are grudgingly acceptable, the 8 currently holding it all together is just taking the piss    I've also ordered 60 more retaining wall blocks for the front yard, I mis-gonculated the height that was required to get above the base of the Photinia's (red robin's) that are the hedge behind the front fence, currently it is 2 blocks high, and about 1/2 a block short, so going 3 blocks high will be above the base of the red robin's, and allow some room for mulch
