yeah a small budget laptop is the easiest way...even a tablet may work

if you want to get tricky its not too hard to install a small incar computer that runs though a screen built into your dash that can also double as a gps and stereo/tv if you want....permanent monitoring ;)

According to Scott at Insight Skyline Plug Ins have had the six coil driver /V88 top board standard .

Mine is on order and will be fitted and tuned in the new year .

I was told that replacing the CAS if its a few years old is a good idea too so will have to chase one up soon , I think Kudos may sell new ones .

Cheers A .

Whilst on the subject of PFC vs Vipec cons + pros.

-What are the limiting factors on either when going for 400kw+ on e85

-Capability of running big injectors smoothly, say ID2000's?

I know MAF would be a limiting factor on Pfcs although I'm not too sure about ability to run large injectors?

Are there MAF's that can support that sort of power?

I have the PFC already, but probably needing to upgrade.

The biggest issue is that the search function is not used. Although all models have this feature, it is very rarely used. I suggest trying it before engaging in further comment.

Kind regards, SAU community

Well on this one I searched but did not find .

Scott said look at a new CAS but the only supplier I know of is Kudos and I don't think they have them for S2 RB25DETs , with the non Neo type CAS that is .

I would have thought it cheaper to replace the bearing and circular plastic gadget Nissan CASs Ive seen in the past have but not sure if internals are available .

If you want a fresh CAS or internals who sells them ?

Cheers A .

if you can track down the builder of twoogle, Paul, you can ask him about the modified CAS Discs he uses, or buy a new CAS, or go whole hog and go a full trigger setup. You can buy them, best to call if its not listed on thier site as it may share a similar model.

You can buy a kit but its not cheap mate. It really depends on what you are doing with it. Chasing 400+ killerbees, get a trigger setup. If not, id stick with the factory CAS. Search the forums for Ross Trigger setups. A few threads on it now.

Yep point taken but there are some good ideas in this thread .

If you were keen on a crank trigger wheel and could fit one to the back of a good std crank pulley thats 80% of the fight .

you can change the disc inside the cas in less then 15 minutes. its a little fiddly if you don't know what you are doing.

autronic also sell a drop in unit. call Ian he can sell you one if you cannot get hold of paul at red r racing, this forum has some kinda vandetta against him these days so he is not so easy to track down anymore.

i use the autronic ones in my car and they work fine. you will need to update the trigger settings and re-do the ignition timing.

I have one from AEM on the way. Tried Pauls but its not triggering correctly on RB26.

Took me about an hour to pull apart and put all back together BUT this is due to the most stubborn pin and bearing i have ever come across.

Link Jez to aem?

Easy to setup/configure? Just read a tutorial about fitting the aem, not sure about the configuration bit though. Can these disks be used for PFC
