The deposit issue is null and void by a stroke of luck, Not only was the car not ready yet, when I went in to the bank to organise a new bank cheque today, I found that the original deposit cheque had not been cashed yet.I cancelled it and called the dealer to say my patience had run out as politely as I could and he winged for a bit but then resigned his argument after a brief chat. He was ok and blamed his business partner for not calling me last week. Too little too late and the delay ended up working out for the better in the end.

Eastern creek is something I want to do sometime, but pretty sure it would be the end of my turbo.

Baby steps Craig, you have to beat 13.8 from Dale and myself first before thinking 12s.

Congrats on the new purchase Matt. I know your wont be disappointed in the car, and I hope you can keep it looking as good as Chris did.

+1 for a meet for the Sydney guys, but I'm not organising it... :P

Oh just let me pull up the handbrake half track so I don't go to fast on my first run....is that ok!!! Don't want to go to fast because that would be above the national speed limit of 110km/h!

P.s v-tard section is in another part of sau! B-slap to arec in next sighting.

    • This is a recipe for disaster* Note: Disaster is relative. The thing that often gets lost in threads like this is what is considered acceptable poke and compromise between what one person considers 'good' looks and what someone else does. The quoted specs would sit absurdly outside the guards with the spacers mentioned and need  REALLY thin tyres and a LOT of camber AND rolling the guards to fit. Some people love this. Some people consider this a ruined car. One thing is for certain though, rolling the guards is pretty much mandatory for any 'good' fitment (of either variety). It is often the difference between any fitment remotely close to the guards. "Not to mention the rears were like a mm from hitting the coilovers." I have a question though - This spec is VERY close to what I was planning to buy relative to the inboard suspension - I have an offset measuring tool on the way to confirm it. When you say "like a mm" do you mean literally 1mm? Or 2mm? Cause that's enough clearance for me in the rear :p I actually found the more limiting factor ISNT the coilover but the actual suspension arms. Did you take a look at how close those were?
